The Great Plague (How do we know about it?), 26 April 2010
This book tells the story of the Great Plague using text that Key Stage 1 children can easily understand. The first part of the book covers the main events and contains colourful pictures to illustrate the likely scenes. The second part contains evidence of how we know the events took place through artwork, historical documents, clothes and objects. A simple glossary and timeline are also included. Young children should be able to grasp the important events clearly since the story is brought to life in such a child-friendly way.
