3.0 out of 5 stars Cutting Edge Structural Anthropology, 2 Jan. 2005
This book is the first book in a series of four books which look at the science of mythology. Claude Levi-Strauss is an anthropologist who is famous for being the main founding father of structural anthropology. This book is essential reading for all students of structural anthropology, even though many of Strauss' ideas have now been superceeded by the ideas of the neo-structuralists. One word of warning, this book is very tough and complicated to read. Only buy this book if you have had some experience with structuralist theory in the past, otherwise you will not understand it. This book is not for the beginner, it is for someone who already has a background in basic structuralism.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible Album, 2 Jan. 2005
This review is from: Bad For Good (Audio CD)
For a while now I have liked some of the work of both Meat Loaf and Bonnie Tyler. One day I noticed that the songs I liked by each artist were written by the same man, Jim Steinman. I therefore searched Amazon in the hope of finding something by Jim Steinman and I luckily found this album. Jim has a good voice. It is not as strong as Meat Loaf's or as gritty as Bonnie Tyler's voice, but it is good in its own way none the less. Each song is classic Jim Steinman and I have come to prefer this album to the stuff by Bonnie Tyler and Meat Loaf. That is how good this album is!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect little book of German Grammar, 1 Jan. 2005
This little book is small and contains all the information you need to know about German grammar. It was recommended to me by my German lecturer at university and I could not manage without it. It is quite simply the perfect reference tool for the new student of German. It contains the basics without being too complicated. If you are a new student of German, then this is the book that you need in order to supplement what you are learning from your teacher. This book is a gem.
