4.0 out of 5 stars Great but pricey, 12 May 2016

Works really well, feels nicer and writes better than the original pen that came with the Wacom. Not five stars as I felt it was a bit expensive for what it is.

Comfortable, however the soles leave marks on my light coloured bathroom floor, making it look a mess every time I set foot in there.

1.0 out of 5 stars A triumph of ignorance over science, 21 Oct. 2013
These ear candles are completely ineffective and can be dangerous. The flame of the candle apparently sucks the wax and toxins out of your ear, this can be seen by cutting open the candle at the end of the treatment and marvel at the amount of wax and gunk removed from your ear.

There are several problems with this idea. First as shown in this peer reviewed paper ([...] the flame provides no vacuum or negative pressure in order to pull wax out of your ear, so it cannot remove wax from your ear. Second these things are made of wax, so the wax you see in the candle after treatment has come from the candle itself, not your ear. Even worse there is evidence in the above paper that the wax from the candle can go into your ear. So if you are suffering from wax build up, these candles have no chance of making the condition better and can easily make the problem worse.

Another peer reviewed paper stated that:
"A critical assessment of the evidence shows that its mode of action is implausible and demonstrably wrong. There are no data to suggest that it is effective for any condition. Furthermore, ear candles have been associated with ear injuries. The inescapable conclusion is that ear candles do more harm than good. Their use should be discouraged."

The American food and Drug administration warms that ear candles:
"can cause serious injuries, even when used according to the manufacturer's directions...FDA has received reports of burns, perforated eardrums and blockage of the ear canal which required outpatient surgery from the use of ear candles.

FDA is especially concerned because some ear candles are being advertised for use in children. Children of any age, including babies, are likely at increased risk for injuries and complications if they are exposed to ear candles. Small children and infants may move during the use of the device, increasing the likelihood of wax burns and ear candle wax plugging up the ear canal. Also, their smaller ear canal size may make children more susceptible than adults to injuries."
See [...]

Here is a list of 30 people ([...] who have been injured by ear candles, including one poor nurse who died after her bed sheet caught fire while using an ear candle.

The best you can expect from these is a short lived placebo effect from the treatment, because they don't actually do anything. At worst people risk potentially severe skin/hair burns and middle ear damage, definitely avoid them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too big for the LZ20, 27 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Although this is advertised as suitable for the Panasonic LZ20 it is far too big. The LZ20 will rattle around inside it and by my measurements you could just about fit two LZ20 inside this case. So if you want a case for the LZ20 don't buy this.
