2 Advanced Ultrasonic Sonic Solar Mole Vole Rodent Repeller Repellent with LED Light
Offered by Pestexpel
Price: £18.00

2.0 out of 5 stars not quite as advertisied and do they do the job?, 22 May 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Work well as far as noise generation and light is concerned but as soon as we had some rain, like the bird scarers, the moles just seem to ignore them and carry on as before. When you put them in the ground do it deep first time because if you want take them out they come apart. Instructions are in interesting English and listed as snake scarers!

1.0 out of 5 stars Check the size and measure your dog first The breed recommendations may not be accurate, 1 April 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
When it arrived it was far too small to be usable and I had to send it back which was fine. We have a small cocker spaniel and the size ordered was recommended for a cocker BUT do not trust this and very carefully measure your dog , neck to tail and strongly suggest ignore breed size recommendations in this case.

Kre-O Star Trek Klingon Bird-of-Prey Construction Set
Kre-O Star Trek Klingon Bird-of-Prey Construction Set
Offered by Gameseek
Price: £12.36

4.0 out of 5 stars Overall good value but not quite perfect, 15 Sept. 2015
Well constructed and no pieces left over BUT some of the pieces were not pair matched colour wise ( only 3 pairs ) but other pieces of a different color were provided. The little models just fit into the cockpit but then you cannot shut the lid which is not as shown on the picture on the front and begs the question as to why include them. I think a 7 year old would struggle here majorily to build this, but it looks good when you finally get there, circa 2 hours.

Monolith Flapover Business Laptop Briefcase

4.0 out of 5 stars Good valu but odd shape, 18 Feb. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Slightly odd shape when fully open which is a definite wedge but side support bands prevent the mid section opening out to full width so narrow at top but wide at the base. Lots of pockets but anything larger than a normal A4 file is tight

Padders Men's Lunar Orthotic Shoes,Black Leather,9 UK
Padders Men's Lunar Orthotic Shoes,Black Leather,9 UK
Offered by UK.Shoes Retail
Price: £59.99

3.0 out of 5 stars Not quite as advertised, 29 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A good fit however the picture of the shoe with nubuck leather is not the leather used on the shoes that arrived which is smooth and not dimpled as shown. This dimpled leather is Nubuck is more expensive and allegedly softer so the shoes that arrived are a cheaper product to produce and incidentally in breach of Trading standards legislation. Other sites show the correct picture. This site does not.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good read but a book too far, 10 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I was very rude about cold vengence which I make no apology for. This book however goes someway to address this problems mentioned and is a genuinely un-put-downable.
It resolves almost everything but sadly, and I suppose predictably leaves the ending wide open for the next book and in my view, some of the sub plots rather unfinished although you could argue they have been , but it is a stretch.
A good book with, at last, some vulnerability and fragility to our eponymous hero which whilst welcome, diminishes his god like status
and hey, it is not real anyway.

AnySharp Knife Sharpener with PowerGrip, Blue
AnySharp Knife Sharpener with PowerGrip, Blue
Price: £9.95

4.0 out of 5 stars As it says on the tin, but limited by the original knife quality, 6 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This really works well with good quality knives but it does not make a poor quality blunt knife into a good one. All it does is strips off chunks of metal off the blade one and as such is not quite all it is pitched up to be.
Good knives however it returns very quickly to exceptional just bought sharpness. Test it on tomatoes and if you can hardly notice it cutting it will have done a superb job , but do watch your hands and you are having a row or just had one with the other half , lock them firmly in the drawer!

2.0 out of 5 stars Natural Causes part 2, 6 May 2014
Having recently been on holiday I noted on the shelf this book, as I had already bought Natural causes. So I sat down and read it. Unfortunately this is simply a re working of the first novel and gives all the plot away from the first. In addition, the second girlfriend also gets 'compromised' but not quite as finally as the first one. ( Likely.......... I don't think so ) The unreasonable Chief inspector continues (I presume) to act like weasily uniformed idiot from Endeavour on the TV and the ongoing feud continues unabated and equally ridiculously and as such is totally unrealistic.
Yes there is an end, but we are left with unanswered questions all over the place and unexplained loose connections with the other crimes he is supposed to have solved at the same time.
Central to the plot is an alleged supernatural book and we learn later a ghost who helps Mc lean track it , I think !!
Detective fiction in my view has to be grounded in believeability and facts, and sadly this falls well short of anything vaguely resembling real life. Crime fiction it is not, by any stretch of generousity.
I will not be reading anymore and now, not even the first one !!
It gets 2 stars as it is well written but Mr Oswald really needs to get some decent story lines under his belt before he tries again.
