1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the read, 21 May 2016

What a waste of time too short and no depth so you couldn't get even to know or like the characters. My first and last time of reading this author .

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice. Change, 7 Nov. 2015

I think I could become a fan of Abby Green . The story line was different with a woman kidnapping a man for a change. This is a gentle love story with little angst between them. I would have given it 5 stars had the characters been developed more but they were both very likable from the outset. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to while away a very wet afternoon.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice romance, 5 April 2015

This is the first time I've read this author's books and found the story engaging and an easy read. I did have an issue with the repetitiveness of the main characters backgrounds it would have been better for the reader to have worked some of it out for themselves instead of it put on a plate but having said that I've given four stars because the story line with the cousin/sister is a bit different and it was a free read and am considering getting the next one in the series.

Just a run of the mill love story with nice characters in fact there was not one person in the book to really dislike and I do like to have at least one so you can see their comeuppance as a freebie it was value for money but didn't encourage me to get other books in the series

3.0 out of 5 stars A bit of fantasy to while away a few hours, 29 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
All three books are standalone but carry an underlying story as well as each love story. The storyline is good but I couldn't give it more stars as each book is too short so the characters lack a bit of depth so by the time you have just about engaged with them the end of the book has arrived - a real shame.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money, 12 Jan. 2015

This is a complete rip off less than 80 pages of drivel and now (spoiler alert) her hubby turns up for another rip off. The first part was good and then someone must have thought let's take the last few chapters and charge the reader the earth for diddly squat. This should have been one book at one price it puts you off e -books because this would never happen in paperback

4.0 out of 5 stars Great way to spend a few hours, 11 Jan. 2015

Really enjoyed it. H was really nasty at first but changed slowly through the book. It was great that the book used up to date slang occasionally, there were a couple of continuity issues which should have been picked up on proof read but didn't detract from a well constructed and engaging story. I would have given it 5 stars for an M and B book but found the repeated bit about his previous lovers all remaining friends with him a tad unbelievable.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not up to her best yet, 7 Jan. 2015

This is a better book from one of my favourite mills and boon authors but not yet back to her previous form. I just seriously disliked H why because apart from coming across as a bit of plank in the emotional stakes I thought for such a successful business man he was rather thick. I just felt rather sorry for h and couldn't fathom out what she saw in him. Still if you want to pass a few hours of an afternoon with a feel good book with little substance then this is the book for you.

3.0 out of 5 stars An okay read, 2 Jan. 2015

The story was evenly paced till the end when the story became rather silly ending in a rush. Spoiler alert would someone who had been told their future spouse had skipped the ceremony and the country a few minutes before the service be that together they could reorganize everything in a few minutes!! Dah.

4.0 out of 5 stars Something for a wet afternoon, 11 Nov. 2014

An enjoyable read if you like a bossy alpha male. the heroine was strong minded and warm hearted so that made the book. The ending was rushed and I would have liked to have seen that develop earlier with more intrigue. What I hated was the amount of times the author said her eyes rolled - dah!
