Teaching English for Specific Purposes, 26 July 2010
"The Crit" is just what I have been looking for as there is so little material around for teaching English to Architects. There is some literature on the problematic side of the 'crit', its questionable pedagogical value, but the handbook gives a lot of brilliant tips how to deal with it: it points out all the problems architecture students are facing AND helps how to overcome them. This handbook is useful to both native speakers and speakers with English as a second language. It also has a very up to date bibliography. I can only express my great gratitude to the authors and recommend the handbook to everyone working in the field of architecture education.
