3.0 out of 5 stars It was OK but not great, 13 Feb. 2013
This review is from: Sweet Temptation (Paperback)
It was a good read, predictable, yes. I have the opposite problem, I have to force myself to eat, so I found it amusing

1.0 out of 5 stars very disappointing, 5 Feb. 2013
This review is from: I'll Catch You (Paperback)
I had to give up halfway through, it got absolutely ridiculous. How it ever got published is beyond me. Luckily it was a library book, so I didn't waste my money

1.0 out of 5 stars What a weird book, 31 Jan. 2013
This review is from: One Last Look (Paperback)
I had to give up this book as I really didn't understand who was who, I also, like another reviewer thought it was an incestuous relationship, it was only because I read the front cover that I realised they were brother and sister and that really threw me

A Nurse at War

1.0 out of 5 stars Disgusted at publsher, 26 Jan. 2013
This review is from: A Nurse at War (Paperback)
I would have given this book a zero rating if I could. As others have said, it was published as a different author and under a different title. If I had bought this book I would have been incensed but luckily it was a library book

The Other Woman's Shoes
The Other Woman's Shoes
by Adele Parks
Edition: Paperback
Price: £7.99

2.0 out of 5 stars okish but predictable, 20 Jan. 2013
I have given it a 2* as I did finish the book, it was very predictable and what really annoyed me, Martha was having rampant sex all over the house at various times of the day and yet had a baby and a toddler, being a mum of 2 myself I don't know where she found the time or energy not to mention presumably very sleepy children

Ten Minutes to Fall in Love
Ten Minutes to Fall in Love
by Julia Llewellyn
Edition: Paperback
Price: £7.99

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved it, 20 Nov. 2012
I absolutely loved this book, I was a bit put off at the beginning with all the Indian names that I could't remember but I stuck with it and thoroughly enjoyed it and am going to order anymore books that she has written

Summer in Orchard Valley: Valerie / Stephanie / Norah
Summer in Orchard Valley: Valerie / Stephanie / Norah
by Debbie Macomber
Edition: Paperback

2.0 out of 5 stars Okish but not not but good, 10 Nov. 2012
I did manage to finish it but I almost gave up when we got to the 3rd sister because I thought if I had to go through the father's heart attack again I would scream and the fact all 3 sisters fell in love and got married within weeks was pretty silly

4.0 out of 5 stars good but not spell binding, 29 Oct. 2012
It was an OK book, it was interesting, set in the 1950's, a very easy read, dealing with race relations etc but something was missing for me to give it a 5*

The Holiday
The Holiday
by Erica James
Edition: Paperback

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 29 Oct. 2012
This review is from: The Holiday (Paperback)
I have loved all the other EJ novels that I have read, unfortunately this wasn't one of them, yes it was OK, don't get me wrong but there was something missing for me. The descriptions of the tourist attractions in Corfu was boring and I skipped over them

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a patch on her other books, 25 Oct. 2012
This review is from: The Life (Hardcover)
I was so excited when the library sent me it to review, it was so boring, let's throw every swear word at it in the the first few pages. We had chapters that at times weren't even 2 pages long, I was hoping that it would get better but unfortunately it didn't
