The Beatles Box Set - Remastered in Stereo
The Beatles Box Set - Remastered in Stereo
Price: £163.65

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best. (Ever), 15 Aug. 2012
Exquisite. Everything you'll want to hear by the Beatles, in absolutely brilliant stereo. The only improvement would be to have Let It Be unplugged cunningly hidden under Annies pillow !

5.0 out of 5 stars Krups? Go for it!, 13 Aug. 2012
Krups produce a damn fine product. Three different companies make this identical product, I'll guarantee Krups is the best. It has the Aerolatte Milk Frother, wait a little while for the price to fall (it will) and this will be a bargain.

This is agreat book by a man with an eye for a great photo. Also a love for the East End in all it's grubby glory. An East End that, for better or for worse, is slowly disappearing. It is catalogued here. lovingly, but unromanticised. Thoroughly recommended!

This review is from: Bradshaw's Handbook (Hardcover)
Great replica. And a giveaway at the price. Being fascinated by Michael Portillo's use of Bradshaw on "Great Railway Journeys" it is a joy to own a first class facsimile of the actually book he used.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb, 5 Jun. 2012
Boy, is this a good little camera! Looked at it seriously, because of the association with Leica, a very serious camera manufacturer. Forget the one star reviews, these people were clearly reviewing homemade pinhole cameras or somesuch. As I basically want a point-and-shoot pocket compact, I keep it in IA mode. Clear, grain-free pictures, no camera shake, and a set of nice, creative options, if needed. Don'thesitate, classy little camera!

1.0 out of 5 stars Inauthentic., 20 May 2012
Like so many "replicas" of the Wallace Sword, this is a copy of the "Braveheart" sword. It bears little resemblance to the genuine "sword of freedom" in the Wallace Memorial (which probably is not Wallaces sword anyhow).

4.0 out of 5 stars Good protection but..., 16 May 2012

This is a very neat and compact case, providing more than adequate protection for my Lumix FS 35. However, it is a very tight fit indeed. You will need the wrist strap attached to pull it out, and need to be careful about which way up you insert it, as it is apt to switch itself on. I am hoping that after a while it will loosen up a touch. In all other respects, it is a great little case, and I don't regret purchasing it. The front compartment easily holds a spare battery and cased memory card, and it is a robust item with plenty of padding, as you would expect from Sampsonite. If you can handle the snug fit (which is not always a disadvantage) this is thoroughly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Improvement, 26 April 2012
This is a nice, elegant little replacement for the Novopen 3. Everything is twist and click, slightly improving usability over the screw fitting of the older pen. The unit numbering system is a clear black on white, and fully enclosed, so the numbers don't wear off, and it looks good to boot! Recommended. Of course, you don't actually BUY one in theUK, you do what I do, get it on prescription from my Doctor. 'Cos, as a diabetes sufferer, it'll be free.

Sushi How To Make Delicious Sushi at Home
Sushi How To Make Delicious Sushi at Home

1.0 out of 5 stars Utterly Useless, 14 April 2012
Should be a facility for giving this no stars. This is no more than a very brief pamphlet giving very very basic description of a fewctypes of sushi. No recipes, techniques, or anything of that nature. If this were free, it still wouldn't be worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Basic but brilliant!, 14 Feb. 2012
Some idiot complaining about the authenticity persuaded me, out of cussedness to buy this book, boy, am I glad I did! Simple, (with occasionaly complex) dishes, very clear instructions, a section giving full instructions on producing all the great Japanese sauces, full and clearly illustrated explanations of all the sushi techniques, great illustrations... if you have any respect for your taste buds, go out and buy this now.
