CD that was used did not work at all. I asked for new copy, never got it. Dealer (that is not amazon.co.uk) lost another customer.

2.0 out of 5 stars Bad, 10 Jan. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This DVD promises much more than it delivers; there are only some early (not all) singles, picture and sound quality is not good, and the opinions, critics and judgments given by some talking heads have nothing new to offer.
A real Stones fan has seen or read it all many times. If you are a young music fan, there sure is much better ways to get to know these classics.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excuse me?, 15 July 2007
This review is from: Aftermath (Audio CD)
If you check track list you notice that this IS the original CD with 14 tracks. So, buy it and enjoy the album that was (and is) worth of 5 stars, the most "pop" of the Stones albums but still great, thanks to brilliant Brian Jones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bossa and Stones Nova, 7 Dec. 2005
This review is from: Bossa N'stones (Audio CD)
One of the well known legends in popular music is how Andrew Loog Oldham locked Mick Jagger and Keith Richard in the kitchen and refused to let them out till they have composed a song to record. Nice story but both the ex-manager and Mick and Keith later confessed it's only a story. Jagger and Richard had already written some pop songs for various artist without very big success. Of course, Marian Faithfull had the hit with As Tears Go By. First Jagger-Richards album Aftermath changed it all: Out ot Time was UK no. 1 hit by Chris Farlow, Searchers made top 30 with Take it or leave it. Cliff Richard recorded Blue Turns to Grey (not in Aftermath album) and went to top 30.
Many Rolling Stones songs have been covered since but unfortunately only few got even close to originals.
In last few years there has been many albums released as Tribute to the Stones. Reggae, bluegrass (!) etc. and now Bossa nova. Most of those albums are OK, nothing more.
Suprisingly, this one works! Every song on this CD is interesting but for me the best are Symphaty for the Devil, Miss You and only no-Jagger-Richard song Harlem Shuffle. What do Stones and soft latin music have in common? Hardly nothing, 'till now.
This cd is great, relaxing on-the-beach music, but it works at home as well. Buy it and enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars They should have been bigger..., 28 Nov. 2005
I saw Dr.Feelgood live back in 1975 at their peak while many bands like Stones and artists like Clapton were busy taking drugs rather than making good music. This album is great compitalion or Feelgood's best singles. It's great music, no nonsense stuff for people who love rock'n'roll played by real instruments, no gimmicks, no dancing girls. No videos. No tv adds. Just plain good music for people who love rock'n'roll and r&b

5.0 out of 5 stars Free at last and (almost ) at their best, 4 Aug. 2005
This review is from: All Right Now (Audio CD)
Free really was one of the finest and most talented blues/rock bands of the time. They made some excellent singles and albums. This compitalion is VERY good and has been sold with very customer friendly price. It contains the best of Free excluding their swang song single, Wishing Well, which is a pitty. Anyway, for all people who used to love the music back then and (hopefully) still growing group of people who prefer raw staight guitar based rocknroll like Kings of Leon, Sonata Arctica and other new giants of heavy metal (forget about super market metal like Darkness!!!) this is where it all begun. Play it loud and enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Stones roll 4 ever, 21 April 2005
After seeing the Stones in Helsinki in July 2003 I bought this DVD box here in Costa del Sol, Malaga, where I live now, by 39.99 euros. Believe me, it's not nostalgia or excitement of seeing Greatest Rock'n'roll Band in the world live that makes me say this is worth of every euro or pound or crona or whatever you pay for it. The Stones are part of western culture the same way as Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Bob Marley, Elvis, Beethoven, Mozart, Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Legends in their own time. This is the THE document. Enjoy. Play it loud.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must to a fan, 15 Mar. 2005
As a long term follower of the band I find this book a Bibble for Stones fan. For me its got everything I need: dates, facts etc. I do know my Stones; no need for deep analyses of songs or albums. For someone who is interested about the band and does not know it and its music well there is Complete Guide to the Music of The Rolling Stones. This book is for collectors and hard core Stones fans.
