Magnetic USB to 8-Pin Lightning Data Sync Charging Flat Cable for iPhone 5/ iPad 4/ mini (22.5cm)
Magnetic USB to 8-Pin Lightning Data Sync Charging Flat Cable for iPhone 5/ iPad 4/ mini (22.5cm)

5.0 out of 5 stars Neat and nifty charge and sync, 20 May 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I've had one of these charging cables for a month or so now; it gets occasional use with a portable battery pack but feels robust enough, showing no signs of failing or falling apart so far. It charges my iPhone 6+ just fine, none of those pesky 'This accessory is not supported messages'. The magnet could be stronger, but I'm nit-picking if I were to knock a star off for that. Am back on Amazon right now to order another...

Outdoor Garden Leaf Blower & Vacuum - Powerful 2800 Watt
Outdoor Garden Leaf Blower & Vacuum - Powerful 2800 Watt

5.0 out of 5 stars Saturday afternoons in the garden have never been so much fun, 1 Nov. 2014
For the price I found this to be an excellent piece of kit. It's solid enough, ergonomically sound and with excellent suction, coping just fine even when sucking up the occasional stone from the lawn.

Yes, it has a short power cord, but the recommended extension lead does the job admirably.

Fast delivery, well-packaged, good performance, great value.

1.0 out of 5 stars Didn't work for me..., 15 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
In principle this is a useful product at a handy price - it failed to work for me though.

I've an iPhone 5 and a Bose SoundDock Portable. After inserting the eSYNiC into the dock the LEDs flashed red and blue, I enabled Bluetooth on my iPhone and successfully paired, at which time the LEDs flashed blue. Selecting the eSYNiC as a Bluetooth output in iOS appeared to work, but then failed to play any music through the dock. After 5 or so seconds of silence the Bluetooth connection dropped and I had to reconnect once again.

Tried a number of different configurations, with the SoundDock plugged in and not, forgetting the device and reconnecting, but nothing would work for me.

; however I was unable to get the iPhone to play. I could pair with the eSYNiC receiver

5.0 out of 5 stars Invaluable Advice, 3 July 2011
In So You Want to be a TV Presenter, Kathryn presents a clearly laid-out handbook explaining the tools, tips and techniques necessary to get a foothold in this notoriously difficult-to-enter profession. Based upon her wide experience as a television director and coach in the UK, Kathryn also pulls on experiences from established television presenters and ex-students to illustrate her points throughout. Not a stone is left unturned as she starts by covering the basic techniques required (e.g., awareness of voice and self etc), moving on the basics of the trade (using prompters and talkback) before finally sharing advice on showreels, CVs and who to approach for work. It's an accessible, open and friendly book that leaves the reader under no illusions as to the commitment, persistence and determination required to make a career as a television presenter. Highly recommended.

The Adventure Of English
The Adventure Of English

5.0 out of 5 stars A joy to read - informative and surprisingly moving, 12 July 2006
1500 years of linguistic history, spanning every continent, crammed into 300 joyful pages. From its Friesian ancestors one and a half centuries ago through to its global 'Coca-Colonisation' in the 20th century, Melvyn Bragg presents his reader with, as the title suggests, an adventure of genuine intrigue. I was surprised at just how readable Bragg's narrative was, and found myself moved by some passages illustrating the sacrifices that some have made for their language. Authoritative without being at all dusty, it's a fascinating read which I'll certainly return to re-read before long.
