4.0 out of 5 stars Groovy baby, yeah!, 29 Oct. 2000
The Apples in Stereo excel again with another absurdly retro, and magnificently catchy album full of some of the most vintage sounds around. Robert Schneider's genius touches each and every song. Has there ever been a catchier slice of psychadelic pop than 'go' the first track on the album? I don't think so (not since the 60's anyway...)

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointingly average from one of Britain's best live acts, 29 Oct. 2000
Oh dear, just when you thought that Red Snapper were on the verge of producing something really special, they've gone and produced something so mediocre that it is almost instantly forgotten as soon as listened to. Their two previous albums contained some of the most innovative, and downright funky, dance music of the decade, but yet this album consistently fails to deliver. The album starts promisingly but then falls into self indulgence. It also manages to produce one of the most embarrasingly worded songs of all time: 'the rough and the quick' just listen to it and you'll know what I mean. If only they'd spent a bit more time trying to satisfy other people as well...
