Another enjoyable page turner form the author, this first person account of a serial killers behaviour provides a fascinating insight into the mind of a psychopath. Alas, sadly laced with the usual bad grammar, puerile spelling mistakes and poor punctuation which distracts the reader from an otherwise gripping tale.

Story is great, gripping and intense however the poor grammar is an annoying distraction. I don't know whether it's my Kindle or the publisher but missing apostrophes and childish separation of paragraphs as well as jumping from scene to scene in the same sentence requires improvement.

Very entertaining, a real page turner but riddled with distracting spelling mistakes. Otherwise very well written with a clever technique of switching between first and third person.

Hard action that you'd expect from John Bald, fast and gripping, violent and extreme, proper Mills & Boon for blokes. Observant reader's may find a few spelling mistakes but as it's a Chris Ryan book we can forgive him that, just hope he goes easy on the proof reader! The only mildly annoying thing is the four or five re-caps spread around in the text explaining what just happened in the previous few chapters clearly designed for the five part mini reads that they like to split books into these days, not required in the complete novel, thank you. Bit lazy of the editor I think but that won't stop me buying the next book in the series (which there will be).

4.0 out of 5 stars Inspection, Testing and Certification - Practical Advice and Guidance, 10 Jan. 2011
Worth having if you're studying for the City and Guilds 2391-01 but its written by the NICEIC so they plug their products a lot. Very detailed advice on filling in their forms which is still valid for the standard forms in the Regs. You also get bullet pointed testing procedures which will be very useful for the written exam.

This book is worth its weight in gold if you're studying the City and Guilds 2391-01. Chris answers the questions you were afraid to ask in this very detailed account of testing procedures. Worth every penny, I'm delighted with it!

Excellent product, absolutely essential to any electrical student. You'll be amazed at how many practicing "electricians" don't know the first thing about testing an earth electrode on a TT system! Don't be one of them. You'll need this to get through your level III practical.

You'll need this if you're studying to become an electrician. Don't be afraid of the maths, this book makes it a lot easier.
