A DIFFERENT BOND, 11 Jan. 2013
I think people who have given this a poor review are watching a different movie to me(G.B )as the whole point of this is that it is an original and necessary take on the departure of a main character. The most telling point is that even none Bond fans especially women enjoyed it. It is poignant, it is tense and there is space(unlike Q. of S.)! It does have flaws such as how does Bond escape after being shot and falling several hundred feet into a river? Bond is Bond so some suspension of disbelief is required but overall it has a slightly more old world feel to it in the second half with less guns and gadgets and that is good in my opinion.
