The flowers died after a very short time. On contacting the florist a second bouquet was sent that had a much longer life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent case, 16 Jan. 2014
My Sony DSC RX100 fits the case perfectly. The case is very well made of strong leather with a magnetic stud on the underside to hold it closed. It is the only case I've seen that will attach to a belt. It also comes with a neck strap and a wrist strap but the wrist strap is too thick to attach to the camera. Not that it matters as the one supplied with the camera is just fine. The DSC RX 100 MK2. is 2mm thicker and probably would not fit.

It looks good outside the back door. The individual coir raised matting sections clean the shoes well, the holes in the rubber base allows the rain to drain out.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor construction, 26 Oct. 2013
I think the assembled obelisk does look OK.
The construction method is appalling.
It is basically built in two parts, the top section with one circular strap and the centre section with two circles, that is OK. However the two sections are only `held` together with 4 short pieces of plastic tube that fit over the joints. These tubes have to heated up in hot water to make them flexible enough to be fitted as they are a very tight fit. They need to be, as nothing else holds the two parts together. The interlocking joints in the tubular uprights are not tapered so one shake and it all falls apart. The bottom legs are individually held to the centre structure with the same plastic tubes, nothing else holds them in place, they should use screws to hold the parts together as they do on the bird feeders. I have temporarily put PVC tape around them or they fall out. If you build it the garage it will fall apart before you get it to the garden. Now I am sure, once it is in its place in the garden it will be OK as long as you never want to move it. It is beyond me how someone could design something as badly as this. Buy something else.

These cartridges print just as well as the original Brother cartridges at a fraction of the price. The availability of these toners was one of reasons I bought the printer.

Logitech Performance MX Wireless Mouse(UK version)
Logitech Performance MX Wireless Mouse(UK version)

3.0 out of 5 stars Poor battery life and Awkard charging system, 9 Oct. 2013
I have used the Logitech MX laser for many years but the wheel got too stiff to use. So I bought this as a replacement. The mouse is a nice shape and I find it comfortable, the buttons are in a different place not think in better places but OK, I am getting used to that. What I find annoying is the battery goes flat on me every three or four days. I then end up tethering it with a very difficult to attach usb lead. The previous mouse had a charging cradle so when the mouse was put down it went on charge. This was a far superior method of charging, this the reason for only 3 stars.

Only 4 stars as they are a whiter white than I expected for warm white. They come on instantly and dim to a low level, though not as low as the tungsten bulbs they replaced, on my existing remote controlled dimmer switch. Being only 4 watts it will eliminate the discolouring of the ceiling you get over hot tungsten bulbs. I will certainly buy more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Printer, excellent value, 11 Mar. 2013
I had a Canon colour Laser for 6 years but this was a cheaper option than a repair to the Canon. The Brother is quite noisy when it starts but not too bad when running and silent when it sleeps. Compatible toners are a good price on Amazon. I found the colour pictures to be too dark and after playing with the colour settings have settled increasing the individual RGB settings each to +20 and the contrast to +5. This appears to me to have a different effect to just increasing the brightness, I think creates lighter colours but leaves the blacks more dense. I normally use Xerox Colortech+ paper and get acceptable results. The paper handling is fine, the duplexer works well, the envelope feeder works better than the Canon.

I have been using the printer for around three months now and I am still very pleased with it. I have replaced the toners with compatible ones supplied by Prestige Cartridge and the resultant prints appear the same.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great tablet for the money, 27 Jan. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a great tablet for the money, I am really pleased with it and give it five stars. It is very fast it starts in 30secs. I do find the case a little slippery to hold as the front is flat glass with no frame.

The screen is very responsive to touch and bright and clear.
BBC iplayer works well in the default browser. It is great that I can plug in a micro SD card to transfer movies, books or music from my PC however the volume is on the quiet side.

I like the 8" screen as it has a 4:3 ratio, in portrait mode it is wider so when reading there are more words on line than on a 7" tablet which are a 16:9. In landscape mode the screen is about the same width.

The charger lead would be much better if it was longer. An extension lead can be found on E-bay search for `Female 2.5mmx0.8mm'

I find fonts on Android 4.1 are a bit on the small side in some Apps even when the largest size is selected but that is not the fault of the tablet.
