4.0 out of 5 stars Good stuff., 12 May 2013

Works well, as advertized, but the metal ring does not stick to the phone very strongly, and the magnet in the lens can pull it away, requiring some finesse in this manoeuvre.

Touch Global NO.6 CPL Polarizing iPhone Lens For iPhone 4 / 4s / 5 - Black
Touch Global NO.6 CPL Polarizing iPhone Lens For iPhone 4 / 4s / 5 - Black

3.0 out of 5 stars OK, BUT (big BUT), 12 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Works OK, but there is an unnecessary small keyhole-shaped cutout that obscures part of the photo. The plastic is very thick and hard so it's impossible to make the hole bigger to avoid vignetting.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great story but terrible presentation., 21 Feb. 2011
The synopsis on the Amazon page is wrong: This contains no graphics, not even a cover. It is the short story with em-dashes badly rendered (like this- instead of like this - )and the start of the story is run-on from the introduction. Worst of all, the final sentence of the story is jammed up against information about other stories without even a blank line separating the content from the marketing.

Maybe I should have been able to predict all this after seeing the wonky scan of an old Panther edition at the top of the page.

SUNNY SAVERS APPLE IPAD PURPLE EXECUTIVE LEATHER CASE WALLET ORGANISER
SUNNY SAVERS APPLE IPAD PURPLE EXECUTIVE LEATHER CASE WALLET ORGANISER

4.0 out of 5 stars Purple!, 8 Oct. 2010
Like the colour, and it probably offers good protection, but the design is flawed in that the iPad could slip out if the case is carried the wrong way up. Positioning the magnetic clip at the top instead of the side would solve this - the clip also gets in the way a bit. Don't know what they mean by an uncompromising rail in the description - if this is supposed to grip the iPad then it doesn't work.

4.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Keynote, 23 Jan. 2007
A good doco, well worth watching. Impressive to see how much ice is melting, possibly irreversibly and how high the CO2 level really is in a historic context. Nice to see people who care enough to want to do something to save the world. Interesting to see someone who can construct an English sentence and present ideas cogently and who is part of a community who was nearly the USA president.

(One point a couple of other reviewers have made is wrong: he is not using PowerPoint, he is using Keynote by Apple.)

5.0 out of 5 stars My favourite film., 23 July 2000
Definitely Lovecraftian, a real ideas film for those of us who read the actual sf books which are usually about 40 years ahead of stupid Hollywood movies. Nigel Kneale's sharp script almost manages a unified theory of good and evil, the Devil, the paranormal and the meaning of human life on Earth. Superbly edited down to half the length of the original TV series, with the usual Hammer production quality. Andrew Keir is the best Professor Quatermass. Forget pod-people; "We're the Martians now!"
