5.0 out of 5 stars A great box set, one the Alex Harvey richly deserves, 20 Mar. 2016
A wonderful compilation, covering his career from early soul and blues, through Hair to the almighty Sensational Alex Harvey Band. He had the voice right from the start, and you can hear that on the earliest tracks like What's Wrong With Me Baby.

It is beautifully packaged, with great artwork, a book of liner notes and (most importantly) excellent re-mastering of the music.

This is how box sets should be done!

A slightly spooky but also funny supernatural thriller set in Liverpool - I hope that there are more to follow in the series. Smart dialogue, excellent plot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!, 5 Nov. 2014
This is a fast, dark thriller, where the hero is a computer-smart PI working through what turns out to be a complex web of cases including hunting down children of a sperm donor and finding a precious ceremonial sword. All tied together very well, and told at a cracking pace.E

Poetry makes me appreciate words more, feel the rhythm more, and enjoy the depth of art and craft that goes in to writing this way. Not a book to read at one sitting, but great to have on the bedside to read and savour

5.0 out of 5 stars glorious rich poetry, 18 Aug. 2013

ideal for the kindle, for dipping in and out - a more rewarding read than popping in to Twitter or Facebook (which I probably do too much)
