5.0 out of 5 stars Mick Foley's Greatest Hits and Misses, 25 Aug. 2011
What I can say, but this is a must have WWE DVD, if you are a huge fan of both hardcore and Mick Foley.

Mick Foley will always be a true hardcore legend and has been part of main companies e.g. WCW, ECW, SMW and WWE.

This WWE DVD features some of Mick's greatest matches e.g. the epic RAW 1997 Falls Count Anywhere Match with Triple H :) the epic Street Fight at Royal Rumble 2000, with yet again Triple H, the infamous Hell in a Cell Match with The Undertaker at KOTR 1998, a true classic against Shawn Michaels at the 1997 Mind Games and an awesome match with Stone Cold Steve Austin at Over the Edge 1998.

I totally recommend this DVD :) all the way.

4.0 out of 5 stars "Finally The Rock Has Come Back To Atlanta", 23 Aug. 2011
This review is from: WWE - Wrestlemania 27 [DVD] (DVD)

Great opener to the 27th annual WrestleMania, though was quite surprised to hear that this match was put on first.

Both Edge and Del Rio each had a fair amount of domination, with Del Rio coming so close on leaving WrestleMania XXVII, as the new World Heavyweight Champion.

But in the end it was Del Rio who suffered the SPEAR from Edge, who then pinned Del Rio for the win, though Edge wasn't finished, as he was handed a crowbar by his buddy Christian, who together ruined and destroyed Del Rio's priceless Rolls Royce.

I have to admit that this was a great match, and one of Cody Rhode's best matches. I mean Cody Rhode's totally dominated most of this match from start to finish, with Rey Mysterio managing to find the moment of doing some high flying moves, but that didn't work to keep Rhode's from picking up the victory.

Nothing to special about this match, as it was way to short, but good finish. This could have been a better match, if it was given more time, as it felt like a match you'd witness on Friday Night Smack Down.

CM Punk was very impressive in this match, as he purely dominated Orton. Orton did manage to fit in some moves, but Punk was so in control of this match.

Though in the end it was Orton who managed to pick up a victory, by delivering a thunderous RKO to Punk, who lept off the top rope, into the awaited RKO, and that was when Orton picked up the victory.

This was an alright match, though I knew it weren't going to be a five star classic. Though I have to admit that it was good to see Stone Cold Steve Austin, as the Special Guest Referee.

The match itself had a little bit of a fun side to it, with Austin doing the usual Stone Cold Stunners and watching Michael Cole tap out like a baby girl.

The only problem I had with this match, was that the mysterious GM of RAW reversed the decision to allowing Michael Cole to be declared the winner of the match.

Match of the night for sure, and possibly a match of the year candidate for 2011.

I could describe this match in a hundred words, because of the two talents that battled it out.

This match had everything from basic in ring action, to awesome outside ring action. A range of weapons did get used in this match, including a steel chair, steel steps and the Undertaker was placed through an announce table by Triple H, with an awesome Spinebuster.

The match itself concluded with the Undertaker making Triple H to tap out to Hells Gate , with the Undertaker's WrestleMania undefeated streak going from 18-0 to 19-0.

Though this was a six mixed tag team contest, it seemed a lot better than the previous six man tag match, that was done earlier in the night.

Snooki managed to get her moment as she pinned the lovely Michelle McCool for the victory.

I have to point out also that it was good to see Trish Stratus back in the ring, kicking some ass.

Decent main event for the WWE Championship, but certainly not a memorable one.

The match itself was good, with the Miz dominating most of the match, and have to admit that it was good to see the Miz in a main event match up on the grandest stage of them all.

The ending to this match came to the point, where both Cena and the Miz were both counted out, with the guest host The Rock coming down and restarting the match, with a few alterations to the rules for the restarted match. As it came down to the Rock giving Cena the Rock Bottom, which allowed the Miz to make a pin and to remain the WWE Champion.

Though the Rock wasn't finished as he electrifyed once again, laying the Smack Down on the Miz and delivering the People's Elbow.

Overall WrestleMania XXVII was good, but there was some matches on the card that could have improved, but certainly an entertaining WrestleMania all round.

5.0 out of 5 stars "The American Bad Ass Kicks Ass", 21 Aug. 2011
I can remember this being a great documentary about the Undertaker, when I had it on VHS a few years back, but the DVD version is way better.

The documentary itself is great and it goes into very much detail about the success of the one and only American Bad Ass, The Undertaker. The documentary goes into great detail about the Undertaker's time in WCW, his debut in WWE, the rivalries that the Undertaker has been involved with, and the outer life of the Undertaker.

The DVD itself has bonus extras, which includes five of the Undertaker's best matches, including the awesome battle with Triple H at WrestleMania X-7 (17).

The DVD also has a few bonus interviews, that were shown in the documentary itself.

I would truly watch the documentary a thousand times and would recommend it to any Undertaker fan.

4.0 out of 5 stars Jeff Hardy finally becomes the new World Heavyweight Champion, 18 Aug. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
For me, the third annual Night of Champions pay-per-view was really enjoyable to watch, and much preferred this event to the Bash, which I thought could have been better.

We have a great triple threat match for the WWE Championship, which for me stole the show. The match itself involved John Cena, Triple H and Randy Orton. The match had a lot of fast paced, back and forth action.

A great WWE Intercontinental Championship between Dolph Ziggler and Rey Mysterio. The match itself was excellent and Dolph Ziggler proved a lot on why he wanted to be the WWE Intercontinental Champion.

A very decent main event for the World Heavyweight Championship, where Jeff Hardy finally lives the dream of being the World Heavyweight Champion, after defeating former World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk.

Overall this was a good pay-per-view and would say it was better than the previous 2009 pay-per-view The Bash.

This review is from: Get Carter [1971] [DVD] (DVD)
Despite this film being pretty violent, I have to admit that it is Michael Caine at his best.

Caine simply plays a London Villain by the name of Jack Carter, who is out to get those responsible for the death of his brother.

The film is a pure vintage classic, and I recommend it those who are pure Michael Caine fans, and would personally recommend it to those who loves a movie with a thriller and violent theme.

5.0 out of 5 stars Shawn Michael's is indeed the Main Event, 7 Aug. 2011
First off I am going to say that Shawn Michael's is one of the best in ring performers, in WWE history and for sure deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

I can remember watching my first Shawn Michael's match back in 2002, where he made a come back at Summerslam 2002, to take on former friend Triple H in a ***** match up.

This DVD consists of seven matches, which were personally hand picked by Shawn Micheal's himself, where he speak's in front of the camera, about why the matches he picked meant a lot to him and how is career in WWE became a success.

In this two disc DVD set, you will see the following matches.

1. A rare AWA Tag Team Match, where Shawn Michael's was wrestling at the age of 20, with tag team partner Marty Jannetty.

2. The Ladder match that Shawn had with Razor Ramon at WrestleMania X (10)

3. The ultimate classic 60minute Iron Match with Bret Hart at WrestleMania 12

4. The brutal No Holds Barred Match with Big Daddy Cool Diesel

5. A brawl with the demented Mankind for the WWE Championship at Mind Games 1996

6. The first Hell in a Cell Match against the Undertaker at Badd Blood 1997

7. The Non Sanctioned Match with Triple H at Summerslam 2002 (My Personal Favourite)

Plus you get a ton of extras, which include backstage segments and interviews, plus some promos on certain matches, to build the hype up for each match.

I totally recommend this DVD :D and I'm sure that all Shawn Michael Fans will love it :D.

WWF: Royal Rumble 1999 - No Chance In Hell [VHS]

4.0 out of 5 stars "No Chance in Hell", 5 Aug. 2011
WWF Royal Rumble 1999 MR:

1. Road Dogg vs Big Boss Man 3/5

Nice little opener to the pay-per-view and the fans were really interacting with this one. I have to admit that both Road Dogg and the Big Boss Man put on a good opening match.

2. Badd Ass Billy Gunn vs Ken Shamrock (WWF Intercontinental Championship) 3/5

Pretty good match here for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, despite Bad Ass Billy Gunn having an injured ankle. The match was very good and featured a lot of close pin falls.

3. Gangrel vs X-Pac (WWF European Championship) 3/5

Not a long match, but certainly well done to both Gangrel and X-Pac putting on a good match for us the fans.

4. Luna vs Sable (Strap Match for WWF Women's Championship) 3/5

good to see Sable looking lovely and a great divas match, though it involved a strap and was very well put together and the ending did seem kind of familiar to another strap match from 2010.

5. The Rock vs Mankind ( I Quit Match for WWF Championship) 4/5

This by far was match of the night and was brutal from the ringing of the bell, till the moment where a superstar did utter the humiliating words " I Quit". This match had everything from brutal in ring action, to brutal out ring action. Mankind as usual did some death defying stunts, where he did actually fall onto an electric circuit board, which did knock out some lighting within the arena and he took some nasty chair shots from the Rock, who handcuffed Mankind. As I say again by far the match of the night and a brutal I Quit Match.

6. The 1999 Royal Rumble Match 4/5

I have to admit that was a good Royal Rumble Match from start to finish, and liked how it started with Stone Cold and Mr McMahon, till the very end, where it featured yet again Stone Cold and Mr McMahon. A lot of quality superstars were featured in this Royal Rumble Match and a lot of them came close to eliminating Stone Cold Steve Austin. Will not give away the winner of the Royal Rumble Match to those who haven't seen it, but all I can say is that you will be shocked on the outcome, but overall a true classic of a Royal Rumble Match up.

4.0 out of 5 stars "Welcome to the 24th annual Survivor Series", 20 July 2011

1.4/5 (Daniel Bryan vs Ted Dibease for the WWE United States Championship)

Great match to kick off the 24th annual Survivor Series.

2.3/5 (John Morrison vs Sheamus)

Pretty good match between the two, though their Ladder match at TLC was more enjoyable.

3.4/5 (Dolph Ziggler vs Kaval for the WWE Intercontinental Championship)

A very exciting and enjoyable match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

4.4/5 (Team Mysterio vs Team Del Rio)

Great traditional Survivor Series elimination tag team match.

5.2/5 (LayCool vs Natalya for the WWE Divas Championship)

A rather decent handicap match for the WWE Divas Championship.

6.3/5 (Kane vs Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship)

A pretty decent match for the World Heavyweight Championship.

7.2/5 (Slater & Gabriel vs Santino & Kozlov for the WWE Tag Team Championships)

Decent tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

8.4/5 (Wade Barrett vs Randy Orton with John Cena as Special Guest Referee for the WWE Championship)

A pretty good main event for the WWE Championship, with Cena doing a great job as special guest referee.

4.0 out of 5 stars "The Elimination Chamber Has Arrived", 14 July 2011
WWE Elimination Chamber 2010 Match Ratings:

1. John Cena vs Ted Dibiase vs Randy Orton vs Triple H vs Kofi Kingston vs WWE Champion Sheamus
(RAW Elimination Chamber Match for WWE Championship) 3/5

This was a decent way to start the show off, with one of two Elimination Chamber Matches that were going to take place with this Elimination Chamber being for Sheamus's WWE Championship. The chamber itself was hardly used at the start, but during the course of this match going on, the chamber was finally used as the ultimate weapon. Most superstars such as John Cena, Sheamus, Kofi Kingston and especially Triple H felt the wrath of this evil structure.

In the end it was John Cena who made Triple H tap out to the STFU and Cena the new WWE Champion. Though it was not over for Cena as Mr McMahon made Cena defend the WWE Championship against Batista and of course you can imagine what happened, Cena totally worn out and Batista finishing it off with a Spear and Batista Bomb, and Batista is the new WWE Champion.

2. Drew McIntyre vs Kane (WWE Intercontinental Championship Match) 3/5

This turned out to be a very good match, with Kane dominating most of the match with Drew McIntyre at a stage where he could have easily have lost his WWE Intercontinental Championship. Though in the end it was Drew McIntyre who found a way of getting his finisher locked on Kane for the victory and Drew McIntyre still WWE Intercontinental Champion.

3. Gail Kim & Maryse vs Laycool 1/5

Was hoping to have a divas match to determine a WWE Divas Champion, but that put a side by Vickie Guererro who made a tag team match instead and I have to say that it was bad and a waste of pay-per-view time.

4. The Miz vs M.V.P (WWE United States Championship Match) 4/5

Great match for the WWE United States Championship, with plenty of back and forth action from both WWE Superstars.

5. Rey Mysterio vs John Morrison vs Chris Jericho vs CM Punk vs R Truth vs World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker
(Smackdown Elimination Chamber Match for World Heavyweight Championship) 4/5

Possibly the best Elimination Chamber Match of the night, with some of the top superstars of Friday Night Smackdown. The chamber was used a lot in this one and every single superstar in this match felt the wrath of the Elimination Chamber, plus we saw a new World Heavyweight Champion by the name of Chris Jericho.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Amazing History Package for the Undertaker", 10 July 2011
First thing I have to say, is that I would recommend this three disc to all of those who are a huge fan of the Undertaker and for those who have begun to watch WWE.

The Undertaker has been one of the greatest superstars in the WWE, and he has proven a lot with a current undefeated streak at the big event, known as WrestleMania.

This three disc set includes at least 21 of the Undertaker's greatest matches, against some of the great superstars in the WWE e.g. Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Mankind, Bret Hart, Brock Lesnar, John Cena etc.

If I was to recommended a match, it would have to be the match that involved Undertaker vs Triple H, at my favourite WrestleMania e.g. WrestleMania X7 (17). This match was totally awesome and it's a match that a great build up and in the end we were treated to a great match.

Overall I would recommend this and I reckon it will be enjoyed by all of those, who are fans of the Undertaker.
