5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant read, 8 April 2007
Suzanne Gordon goes into a lot of detail in this book about what undermines and threatens nurses and patient care including cost cutting and media stereotypes of nurses. The book is mainly about what is going on in America but there are references to health care systems all over the world including the U.K and a lot of what she has written about are infact globe-wide issues. I really wish I had read this book while I was in my final year as a nursing student, it would have helped with an essay or two, better late than never though. I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in health care.
