I was simply swallowed up by the exquisite beauty of this fabulous film. It was one of the most engrossing and intriguing film experiences I have every had - even better than Twilight (lol). It is thought-provoking, involving and moves along at such a languid pace it feels as if you are floating along Rome's Tiber as Jep's life unfolds around you. The soundtrack is sublime and I bought it almost before the credits had finished rolling. So often the emotions generated by today's films are shock, disgust, anguish and a sense of deja vu so this film is like a breath of fresh Italian air. It's glorious.
