5.0 out of 5 stars The replacement for Vol 1, 10 Oct. 2012

I was one of those who complained (in a comment to someones else's review) about the sound quality (the guitar) and the b/w film on Vol 1 - so now I have Vol 2 on loud, annoying the neighbours, and this time they've got it right - this is what Motörhead sound like (on record at any rate). I even got it at the presale price, half what it costs now - can't go wrong !! WE ARE MOTÖRHEAD AND WE PLAY ROCK AND ROLL !!!!

After 4 listenings, this just sounds like leftovers from Steve's really excellent Tunnel's Mouth and Shrouded Horizon. Is Chris Squire really on there? I honestly think you could hear this in a supermarket and your granny wouldn't bat an eyelid or get offended, it's just bland and expressionless. Come on Steve, you can do infinitely better than this - and you normally do.

OK, I don't want to gripe too much, BUT .... I've bought all these albums on vinyl (yes, I'm old), first CD's, "definitive" remaster CD's that proved not to be so definitive, the Platinum Collection, Greatest Hits (just for one song) ... and I'll buy this too, which makes the 4th time I'm coughing up for the same music. I even have all the extras included, probably not in the same quality though. Even so, just for the music it's worth 5 stars, but I'm giving it 4 just because it could be cheaper. So if they need the money why don't they start releasing complete live concerts? And if they really really need the money, why don't they get back in the studio? Or will they now release Blu-ray versions of all their DVD's?

5.0 out of 5 stars It doesn't get much better than this, 30 Jan. 2004
I was quite hesitant about getting this video after the CD. However, it is really amazing - the sound seems even better than the CD, the live shots are fantastic with the guest musicians and the scenes shot in Morocco are just awesome, especially in the main square in Marrakech. This is real music in all its force - why hasn't it come out on DVD??
