3.0 out of 5 stars The Trackpad, 27 April 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Nice laptop in terms of speed and spec, but features by far the worst trackpad I have used in my life. An absolutely awful trackpad. Have I mentioned the trackpad?

3.0 out of 5 stars Good product but not robust, 2 May 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Tackling a garden full of weeds, it worked great at first. On the third usage (a week after purchase) the plastic rim that pulls the blades snapped, so it's now a paper weight. I will likely purchase another, but keep in mind this is probably not the sturdiest tool.

1.0 out of 5 stars What on earth is this all about? When did a decent game become absolute nonense?, 26 May 2006
I really liked FFX. It was cool, there was a decent storyline, the characters were quite interesting, and it made sense (as much as a computer game can). You progress from a couple of characters to building up a team to working up to big weapons, learning skills, and generally kicking monster ass to progress. The graphics are good, the controls are great when you get used to them, and the music is understated but effective.

FFX2... Well it`s like the programmer had written some sort of Tomb Raider engine, needed the money, and decided to slot in a couple of familiar characters. No longer do you build your way up to super duper skills; now you dance at your enemies or sing them to sleep. Yuna in FFX was a summoner, someone with a bit of holy purpose - now she`s become some kind of Steps tribute band.

Absolute rubbish. If you`re a big Final Fantasy fan, buy it and keep it in mint condition in the wrapper.

This game will only appeal to people who like crazy graphics all over the place and computer generated women`s bottoms at every opportunity. The battle controls are nuts, the dress sphere thing is bonkers, and the game smacks of being girly. I had to turn it off after 30 minutes as my brain was fried.

If you want to play a good game, try FFX. I wouldn`t recommend FFX-2 to anyone unfortunately.

Sir Edward Bicycle is a regular on the b3ta.com web site, and often posts the sort of materials that have been lovingly (?) collected in this great book. The book is witty, sarcastic, and very funny - especially for those of us who believe Britain is in a terrible bureaucratic mess. It also makes great toilet reading!
