Enjoyed it. For its steampunk charms. The tech is logically fantastical. Explained well without too much gaff. Looking forward to more

Quite novel In its ideas. Ending was quite confusing and seemed quite rushed compared to the rest of the book.

Really enjoyed the first 2 books. Because the characters had flaws. These seem to be dissipating as the books go on. Likely intentional as they become the heroes they want to be. But made a less enjoyable read for me.

Like many of the other reviews I find the repeating information a little frustrating. The main confusion I find is keeping track of what ship is who. A small header "aboard the ...." wouldn't be too hard would it?

Also I highly recommend you start with book one. As if people need to be told. But story would be impossible to follow otherwise.

Overall have enjoyed the books. Character death is handled very reasonably. Which is unfortunately quite rare I find.
