2.0 out of 5 stars The machine works Ok once Superfish is removed, 15 Feb. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The machine works Ok once the maleware product "Superfish" has been thoroughly removed (Superfish was installed by Lenovo on many different consumer laptops - see the many articles on the WEB concerning this issue).

The machine is more than a bit clunky but it does its job OK. For the £300 I paid I'd say it was reasonable value for money. The Lenovo technical support on the other hand can be good sometimes and lamentable others. However getting them to respond to queries is often very difficult.

Don't forget get rid of the maleware PDQ.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too repetative for me, 15 Feb. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Not for me! I found it a boring and VERY repetitive statement of views that have been stated elsewhere before. In essence the low carb diet works but not for the reasons given by many of the low card lobby and it should not be taken too far otherwise things detrimental to health could occur - moderation in all things as my Grandmother used to say.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good machine with exceptional support available, 3 Jan. 2015
Excellent machine for the Money and outstanding Customer Support! Would highly recommend this machine and Zoostorm in General - a first class outfit.

For those who don't like the Windows 8.1 User Interface simply install something like Classic Shell or Start Menu 8 to turn the interface into something similar to windows 7 or Windows XP (both free programs available from various sites including Download.com).

5.0 out of 5 stars What can I say, I contiue to love this series, 24 Jan. 2014
Charming Detective series based in the Caribbean which has managed to maintain its appeal despite the change in the main character. Kris Marshal has now taken over as the principal Detective Inspector from Ben Miller and has done it style. He has managed to maintain the idiosyncratic nature of the main character whilst at the same time totally changing the personality and MO of the DI in charge.

Sort of humurous Miss Marple with coconuts. NO CCTV, no forensics army just the inspirational hunches of DI Humphrey Goodman and his team. A good cast that seem to work well together.

Suspend disbelief and enjoy this charming series and bring a bit of sunshine into those Winter evenings.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good story, 24 Jan. 2014

I enjoyed reading this the book - a ripping yarn as they used to say. Gave it four stars only because of the poor OCR in places. Would recommend if you're into War stories.

1.0 out of 5 stars The product works quite well but..............., 24 Jan. 2014
This review is from: WebPlus X7 (PC) (CD-ROM)
The product works quite well but there is unhelpful customer support after purchase. It seems everything is done to smooth the path for the company rather than provide a service for the customer. Will not buy another Serif product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Magnificently researched and presented book., 10 Jan. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I knew next to nothing about the Korean War until I read this in depth account of the gallant 29th Brigade. I was astonished to find out just how very important the British and Belgian contribution to this War was (ooops sorry, UN Police Action ).

The book is well researched and graphically presented and it had me totally engrossed - I read it in no time. Then I re-read it and got even more from it the second time (there's so much going on I missed a lot the first time around).

The only question is why, oh why hasn't someone made a film of book?

Can not recommend it highly enough!
