5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect fit, brilliant price..., 13 May 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A perfect fit for my Nokia Lumia 530. My phone is safe and secure in its holding now, and I can still access all the keys I need without having to remove the phone from the case, like taking pictures etc etc. I love butterflies, so of course, had to order this particular cover, which is a gorgeous shade of lilac, with sparkly pink and white pretty butterflies. The case also closes with a magnetic clasp, and is just like a small booklet. It also houses a few spaces on the inner left side to place cards for ease of use, but personally, I will only use these for my library and phone top up card. It also comes with a stylus pen, but i prefer to use my phone the traditional way with my hands, though I will use the stylus for my Kindle Fire as I lost my previous one, so this has come in very useful too. Great price, quick delivery, and excellent product!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very pretty..., 23 Sept. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
i ordered this kimono on 10th September, and it arrived this morning, just 13 days later, which is impressive, considering how far it's travelled. It was really creased on arrival, but my steam iron has sorted that out, and now it looks lovely on its hanger. I tried it on for fit, and it's perfect. I ordered the large, as I also purchased a kimono a few weeks ago from the same company in large, and it's ideal fit wise. It had quite a few loose threads hanging from it, but I soon snipped these off and that's not a problem at all. The main colour of the garment is a sort of soft cream/off white, and it has butterflies scattered all over it, in pink, purple, yellow and green, with green being the most dominant shade of my particular kimono. I'll be wearing mine with a white or cream top under, but you could wear any of the colours in the fabric, ie. pink, green, purple, or even black as a real contrast. These remind me somehow of those 1920's loose feminine clothes, and they really make an outfit that bit more special, and for not much cost at the end of the day. They are perfect for when a cardigan is just too much, or if you get very hot, as I do, and they also look nicer in my opinion...

5.0 out of 5 stars Really comfy..., 14 Jun. 2014

I was a bit unsure as to whether to order these wedge trainers at first, as I don't like having to return items that don't fit or are unsuitable. But I needn't have worried. I did go up a size to my usual 7, and ordered an 8, as in the past my own size in any type of trainer shoe has been too small. These fit me perfectly, and are just so comfy. They cradle my ankle with extra padding, and the hidden wedge gives them that trainer look but with that bit of extra height. I've never been able to wear a completely flat shoe/pump/trainer in my life, as the result has always been a bad back and aching calves. Walking in them is a dream, and I used mine for cycling in this morning, and they're perfect for that also. I ordered the multi-coloured option, and it's a sort of turquoise-blue shade against the white. Excellent price and delivery, and I'm happy to recommend them...

4.0 out of 5 stars Speedy delivery - very pretty top..., 3 Aug. 2013
I saw this top in Debenhams several weeks ago, and actually tried it on at that time, but didn't buy it as I just couldn't make my mind up about it. However, I recently bought myself some linen wide leg summer trousers in a really unusual shade of royal blue, and wanted a top to compliment the colour. I couldn't find anything that I thought was suitable, but then I remembered this top. I wasn't aware that Debenhams sold through Amazon, so I was really pleased when I saw it one evening when I was just browsing. It arrived yesterday, and because it was such a nice day I decided to wear it. The material is really good quality (100% cotton) and has a lovely feel to it. I am 5' 7" in height and it's also a good length on me, as I don't like tops that are too short. The pattern on the front is so pretty, and it has little rhinestones scattered here and there. The sleeves cover the part of my arms that I don't like showing, and it's also very comfy to wear - I think there's definitely a bit of stretch in it. Care will have to be taken when ironing due to the decoration on the front, but I've had tops like this before, and always press them on the reverse side avoiding the stones. I would have given it a 5* rating, but I happened to notice a tiny bit of blue print on the top left hand side which is not supposed to be there. Not sure if it's a manufacturing fault or what, but it doesn't spoil it for me as my hair covers it anyway. It's a lovely top though, and I am happy to recommend it...

4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely, but very snug fitting..., 24 Mar. 2013
I was in two minds about whether or not to order this jacket without having first seen it in the flesh, and being able to try it on etc. I went onto La Redoute's own website and looked at the reviews on there as there weren't any available on Amazon. The reviews were quite favourable, although some said that the jacket was rather snug, but I thought it a lovely colour and style, so I decided to order it, but to go up a size from my usual, and I'm glad that I did. It's a very nice jacket with a lovely sheen to it, although it's advertised as canvas, it really isn't. I would have liked it to be an inch or two longer in length. I am 5' 7" and I think it's ever so slightly shorter on me than I would like it to be, so when I wore it yesterday I had to make sure that my sweater didn't hang beneath the hem. It has a good sized hood with fur, and both are detachable, so you can wear it a number of ways. There are two tabs at the back to make the waist look more shapely, but again, these seem too high up for me. It has four pockets to the front which are handy, though I'm not really one for putting things in pockets as it seems to add extra bulk for me, and as I'm quite busty I don't want any emphasis on that area. It is a lovely piece of outerwear otherwise, and I am happy to recommend it, but make sure you go up a size. And by the way, it has been reduced from £70 (check out La Redoute's website for yourself). Having said that I would not have paid full price for it...

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I wanted..., 6 Jun. 2012
Got this lightweight cotton dressing gown for myself, after searching the High Street without success. It really is a lovely garment, so cool and pretty with its lovely floral pattern and ribbon detailing to the sleeves. I have given it a quick ironing on a low setting tonight and hung it ready for wearing when the weather gets hot again, and I have to say I am more than happy with it as I know it will wash and iron easily (We girls get to recognise easy care items after years of practise). It also looks as though it should cost quite a bit more than I have paid, and the packaging and delivery was excellent. Would make a nice gift for female friends and family...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not like Summertime at all..., 18 Dec. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I purchased this perfume mainly out of curiousity to see whether an inexpensive scent could be a match for the more expensive ones i have tried in the past. I have to say i was very disappointed with it. It has what i can only describe as a sour lemon smell, a bit like cheap washing up liquid. It certainly had staying power, but it definitely is not the one for me. Having said that, everyone to their own and others may find it to be just what they're looking for at a very reasonable price, but i wouldn't recommend it...
