He's done it again!, 7 Dec. 2015
Another rip-roaring page turner of a book with twists and turns aplenty. It is set in the violent and venal world of ancient roman politics but the backdrop this time is the roman legal system - who knew it could be so interesting and deadly! Although the book can stand alone it is better to read the Gold of Tolosa first. Given the author's background one can have complete confidence that is factually accurate and the clever interleaving of actual real events into the storyline gives the book aded spice and authenticity. I hope there is another in the series as the books are set in a little publicised area of Roman History which adds to the interest.
