5.0 out of 5 stars 5 star briliant biography, 18 July 2017
excellent, well researched book on the 1st 20 years of the pioneers of punk -THE DAMNED. As a huge fan for over 35 years I was amazed by the amount of information in this book and equally amazed how much I didn't know! The author has put together a fascinating snapshot of these chaos years, putting all the ups and downs of the key members in perspective, along with detailed list of gigs and set lists.. A must buy for anyone interested in this fascinating story, I doubt whether a better book will be written on the subject, and am anxiously awaiting volume 2 covering the years from 1996 to the present day.

A strange collection of songs/ nursery tunes with a 60's psychedelic feel. I can find nothing about this on the internet so do not know if it is genuine 60's music or modern music with a hippy /trippy feel to it. Oddly track 2 sounds very different to the others but still has the same female singer on it.. all very curious! Well worth buying... after watching the film 'Mumsy Sonny Nanny and Girly' i can confirm that the music from track 2 is played at various points in the film and the lyrics are lines from the film.
