5.0 out of 5 stars Best book so far of a great series, 3 Aug. 2015

Seekers is getting good;this book really was well written few references to the prequel vanguard series to remind us whet the crew came from not re hashing the whole Taurus reach affair and some good character development and no political rubbish we have been stuck with for the last ten years with the next gen crews.

This book was in the true spirit of Star Trek;adventure and exploration.

The phasers were only used twice and not to attack or used in some cover op but to defend and take care of some comety.

Looking forward to the next book about the Sagittarius crew and I hope the book with the endeavour crew is going to be just as good

One of the fundamental story arcs of this book is about sulu and he deals with fatherhood. Sounds good however the research in to baby development is way off!

demora sulu is born at 3 and a half months! Unless star fleet medical has found some miraculous way of delivering a baby at 14 weeks with out doing some serious genetic engineering which is banned in the federation.

Star Trek for me is about a future that's possible if you stretch the imagination and I can stretch quiet far but don't mess with human evolution to the point where it become Imposible especially with such a delicate subject as premature babies.

5.0 out of 5 stars I don't want to go..., 7 Oct. 2014

Very good book, makes you look at your own life and see how easy it could be to do the wrong thing and end up in a place that is so different to the real world and not for the better.

Not only that it makes you realise how crazy the US justice system is and how badly the Americans are maintaining there apparent utopian society.

Netflix have also done a very good job turning the book in to an amazing tv show. The book and the show have many similarities but from the start go in different directions but cross paths very often they go hand in hand.

Recommend the book to anyone, the tv show has many adult themes that some would find inappropriate for example I hope my mum doesn't watch it.

2.0 out of 5 stars disappointing, 8 Feb. 2014

The full circle series up to now has been rather good and was looking forward to this unfortunately a few to many story lines that all could stand alone that we're rushed and thus meant the book feel it had to many characters who were mentioned but never given a chance.

And it s behind the other trek books by about three years so if you have just read the fall series well... I will not say much about that if you haven't read them.
