Excellent device only gave it four stars because it is difficult to read in bright sunshine, I have read reviews regarding speed but I have not found any problems, ideal for my purposes, highly recommended

5.0 out of 5 stars King at his best, 9 Jun. 2016

The third part of the trilogy is just as good as the previous two parts. The story and characters hold the reader and the ending is complete. Kings class shines through.

4.0 out of 5 stars not one of MacBride's best, 26 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
As a follower of this series I felt a little disappointed, this is not as good as I hoped. While still enjoyable the story seemed to lack something and took a little time to get going. The reasons behind Logan's reassignment seems vague and unsatisfactory. For anyone new to the series this is not a good introduction and could deter some from reading more. Even though this is not one of his better novels MacBride is always worth reading hence 4 stars

3.0 out of 5 stars formulaic & repetative, 26 Jan. 2015

This review is from: Bloodstream (Kindle Edition)
I read this after reading reviews about Gerritsen's other novels and frankly I was disappointed, I expected better from such a highly regarded author. How many times do we need to be told the basis of the plot and the situation surrounding the central character follows the same dull storyline. The horror element was weak and best left to others would could make better use of it, overall an okay read but not enough to warrant reading further titles
