1.0 out of 5 stars Karoke gone bad, 4 April 2010
This review is from: The Movie Songbook (Audio CD)
I normally love all Sharleen Spiteri's work but this album is trully awful. I'm not sure whether Sharleen has been forced into making this album by her record company but this is a woeful effort. When it got to "whats new pussycat" I was literally cringing in my seat. Can't wait til Sharleen gets back to producing and singing her own material - where you can hear the extent of her full vocals (which are still impeccable). Xanadu is the only track on here that I would actually listen to more than once. Can't help but feel that Sharleen has chosen the tracks on this album badly and she has missed a trick. This album is consigned to the cupboard where I doubt I will hardly ever play it again.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great book, but don't buy if you have "Keep it Simple", 5 Jan. 2009
This is a great book with great recipies but don't buy if you already have his "Keep it Simple" book as many of the recipies are repeated. I was pleased to receive this as a gift on christmas day but looking through it, was able to see my favourite recipies from keep it simple, like pork boulangerie, tuna with horseradish, burnt lamb, chicken livers with mincemeat were repeated. I feel a bit cheated rather than delighted now!

David Tennant - A Life in Time and Space

1.0 out of 5 stars Nothing new in this book, 5 Jan. 2009
This book should be done for the trade descriptions act. This is a badly researched and written book that tells you little more about David Tennant. Any mention of another "star" like Johnny Depp or Kylie Minogue and the author goes spiralling into 2 pages of irrelevant drivel. He obviously is drawing on previous books that he has written. So a bit of advice if you are a true Tennant fan - don't buy this book you will be sadly disappointed.
