what has happened! I have never found a book by this author hard to read but this book is bad. I like attention to detail but this is too much i dont really care which hand she holds her surf board in and which hand she eats with. I'm 40% through this book and nothing exciting has happened. I hate to leave a book half finished but like martina cole books i may have too.......

Being a big Jack Reacher fan im very disapointed in this lastest book. One of Lee Childs books that i can not finish. If he cant make an effort then i wont make one trying to finish the book. Boring is an understatement. Could skip twenty pages at a time and still be no where near a good story line. Three pages just describing what roads he taken to get to where he was. RIP Jack Reacher

2.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed, 3 Jun. 2013

Struggled to finish this book. Storyline was much the same as any other gangster east london book. Felt long winded in most parts. Read pages and pages of no storyline. Ive enjoyed oher books from Jacqui Rose but feel this book lets her down. Seems to be following in the footsteps of Martina Cole with boring storylines and dragging out the book.

Once in a while a book comes along that has you from start to finish and this is one of them books. Fantastic read. The twist in the story made my jaw hit the floor. Certainly didnt see that coming. Page turner from start to finish.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not his best work, 12 Mar. 2013
Being a fan off Stephen Leathers Shepards books i thought id give this one a try. Sadly very dissapointed. If i was a quitter i would of stopped reading this book about thirty percent into the book. Story line was a good idea although a bit far fetched. A very dragged out boring book that i was glad to finish.

Not impressed, story seemed rushed in places.

I was impressed that I finished it, few times i wanted to give in.
