1.0 out of 5 stars Awful quality, waste of money, I would never buy it again, 26 Aug. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Awful quality. Or no quality at all. Tried on different persons, it does absolutely nothing. It is not me, it is the product. Claims are completely over the top, no reality.
Waste of money, I would never buy it again.

Enthusiastic and devoted tone.

3.0 out of 5 stars barely touched the surface, never going too deep, 26 Aug. 2015

It could have been much shorter, quite repetitive, but nonetheless interesting read.
I was left wanting more from the author, he just barely touched the surface, never going too deep.
Easy read.

5.0 out of 5 stars How a woman coped with her adulterous husband, we hardly forget our executioners, 26 Aug. 2015

This review is from: Adultery (Hardcover)
Easy and delightful reading. How a woman coped with her adulterous husband. A story of sadness and fight. The book is not a novel but a confession about the pains of such an experience. Maybe too much of a grudge the author keeps against her husband, it does not really feel that she got over it and forgave, but well... who can blame her. We hardly forget our executioners.

I like her writing style, it is honestly refreshing, although may be annoying sometimes due to overly self absorbed pose which will abruptly trash the ominous gentleness of her tone.

Periodic Tales: The Curious Lives of the Elements
Periodic Tales: The Curious Lives of the Elements
by Hugh Aldersey-Williams
Edition: Paperback
Price: £9.99

5.0 out of 5 stars If you want the humanity in chemistry, informative and entertaining, 26 Aug. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Not science, not even popular science but, as perfectly the title says, wonderful tales about the chemical elements humanity discover and bring in its history. Full of anecdotal facts about the periodic elements and their parents.
You do not need to read it all at once, one tale at a time will do the trick. Informative and entertaining.

If you want chemistry, look somewhere else. If you want the humanity in chemistry, this is a nice start.

Quantum Psychology: How Brain Software Programs You and Your World
Quantum Psychology: How Brain Software Programs You and Your World
by Robert Anton Wilson
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars the theories put forward will for sure entertain you a bit, 26 Aug. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Sometimes too radical views, no nuances, but nonetheless interesting take to read about. Either as a curiosity, either as a need to get another perspective, the theories put forward will for sure entertain you a bit. Or make you think, the same or the other way, it does not matter so much.
Not boring, but sometimes repetitive and stubborn. Which can also be fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars feeding the soul, not with words of wisdom necessarily, but with a luminous self awareness in beauty of life, 26 Aug. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It is like a meditation reading. You cannot and do not want to read a lot at once, just one chapter, slowly, taking time to immerse yourself in the words and in the space between. There is a sort of quietness and gentleness between words which makes you humble and grateful this author took time to share a stance with you.

I would recommend as a slow paced reading, in those gracious moments when you feel like feeding the soul. Not with words of wisdom necessarily, but with a luminous self awareness in beauty of life.
