Ash Mistry and the Savage Fortress (The Ash Mistry Chronicles, Book 1)
Ash Mistry and the Savage Fortress (The Ash Mistry Chronicles, Book 1)
by Sarwat Chadda
Edition: Paperback
Price: £6.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this book, 8 Nov. 2013
I absolutely love this series. This book is action-packed and introduces us to some very cool (if sometimes dark) Indian mythology which is refreshing after the glut of books based on Greek myths. Ash is a brilliant hero who will appeal to boys who like techie stuff as well as those into fantasy and adventure. Please give Ash a go. I am looking forward to reading the last book as it's on my Christmas list...

3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent service but weird texture, 22 July 2013

The stain is lovely and it's wonderful that it's paraben free, but it is difficult to get out of the tube. It's gel-like texture makes it difficult to apply and I feel I have wasted quite a lot of it because you tend to get too much when you squeeze the tube.
The actual make up itself lasts well once on and leaves a pretty effect on the lips.

I love the chocalatey smell and the gloss this gives my dark hair. The only reason it is not a 5 star review is that it is very expensive.

5.0 out of 5 stars YA historical with sass, 22 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The narrator is a fourteen year old living in Medieval England. Her mischievous take on her surroundings makes this an entertaining read with tons of personality. It is definitely in the top end of YA fiction and the best YA Historical I've read in a long time...
