A TRAIN WRECK, 21 Nov. 2009
A dreadful turgid pile of pretentious pomposity. Others have noted the many crass Americanisms that plague this quintessentially European stinker of a novel, but the awful editor also deserves mention for the many basic mistakes - eg the number of different spellings of Gregorius's Greek friend. This book has so few redeeming features I will not even give it to a charity shop to spare at least one more reader from suffering.
