5.0 out of 5 stars It works, 26 Sept. 2016

A really nice little camera that I use on presentation skills training. No external mic so you need to project your voice but even the meekest of voices is (normally) picked up well enough. Crisp images and easy to operate. Fits well on a tripod or gorilla pod with screw fit. Battery life not tested as normally operate from mains.

Bought this as I needed to store some boxes outside for 4-6 weeks whilst we had some building work done. The proved to be waterproof and fit for purpose, offering good protection to the boxes underneath - although it was a fairly dry few weeks we did have plenty of sharp downpours. I would question their durability to rough handling, or long term exposure to the elements but worked well for us.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to fit and no leaks, 26 Sept. 2016

I needed this to enable me to connect a dishwasher and a washing machine to just the one inlet pipe. I'm no plumber and crawling around under the sink is never the nicest environment but the connector fitted easily first time and did not leak. Recommended.

Nice style and material. Seems durable. Looks good. Perfect for tucking your Mac under your arm. One word of warning, the only thing you will be able to fit in this is the Mac itself, no room for anything else.

Hard to get excited about these. A necessary evil. Ludicrously overpriced and absurdly over packaged.

2.0 out of 5 stars Hard to say...., 20 Aug. 2016

Screen protector fitted well but broke within two weeks with a full width crack. Really hard to know if this saved the phone screen from damage or if it just broke too easily. It is a fragile material - more 'glassy' than I was expecting.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent and detailed analysis - a must read for students of modern warfare, 8 Nov. 2011
I first read this book about ten years ago and consider it to be an essential item for any student of modern warfare. In fact, it is so incisive that I bought this copy for a friend of mine who was preparing a lecture on command and control on the battlefield. The battle described may have taken place in 1982 but many of the confused experiences of decision making it describes could apply to any conflict situation since the introduction of the machine gun. The book is recommended reading for anyone interested in what really happens on the ground during a battle, and a 'must read' for any student of the Falklands War. As presented, it offers thoughtful insight into command and control and decision making within 2 Para in 1982 and provides the reader with an excellent opportunity to discover more about the relationship between British Army doctrine, the realities of battlefield command, and the impact upon both of the often neglected concept of 'friction' in warfare. Indeed, if ever you wanted to understand about what is meant by the Clauswitzian term 'friction' then this book is a must read as it is jam packed with it from start to finish. Fitzgibbon draws on detailed accounts of what happened from those who were there and contains inputs from all ranks, allowing the differing perspectives of this confusing battle to woven together. The text is well referenced and supported by superb tactical level maps allowing full analysis of key actions and phases and includes some photographs.

I found this an enthralling read and still find that I am drawn back to re-read snippets every now and again. Unlike many books I have read on Goose Green this book does not allow itself to be overly dominated by the critical moments surrounding the death of H Jones, but also allows plenty of space to other less well known but equally critical moments. Recommended reading for anyone wishing to know more about the experiences of battle since the introduction of the machine gun.
