Crumpler Prime Mover Key Pouch - Anthracite / Mustard - PKEY-011

Price: £5.00

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't work for keys, 16 July 2017
This has no loop on the inside, so cannot be used as a key silencer, or to protect from key damage. Even if it did, the ridiculous zip puller jangles almost as much as your keys would.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked for my motorcycle!, 12 July 2017
Worked for my motorcycle!
After a double puncture (from some form of industrial staple) on the far side of the Picos, a set identical to this from a filling station worked when the rubber plug kits* we carried, and two sorts of canister foam didn't. Worked well enough to get down from the mountains and back to the ferry, albeit at a leisurely pace. There was some leakage, but I actually think was from foam residue in the tyre valve, not the plug.
You do NOT need adhesive or lubricant for this.
*one of the punctures was at the bottom of the groove of a new set of tyres, and the rubber plugs were too wide to even get to the hole.

3.0 out of 5 stars Kinda works - but not as easily for any Vespa as shown on their YouTube video, 15 Jan. 2017
You absolutely need to run the back wheel up onto a thick timber block (mine is 2 bits of 3x2, bolted together to create a 6x2, and ramped) to gain enough height for the centre stand to clear the dolly's legs.

Once it's on, the scoot be manoeuvred much more easily, and into narrow spaces. The lock must be used to bounce it off the stand, otherwise the back wheel gets caught on the dolly and is real pain to get off.

This applies equally to the Et4 and GTS

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good fuel - but lumps too small to work well with MKettle, 18 Aug. 2016
I bought this for my MKettle - it lights easily and burns well - but one lump won't bring 500ml of water to the boil, even in this efficient device. It needs one and a half lumps, and as the packets don't reseal, and the firebase can only store/pack three, I only get one proper brew without carting loose fuel packets.
Really good fuel, though. Much better than hexamine and Zip types, in my opinion, as it's hot-ish and not too dirty.

Well, it works...

The geometry between the back wheel and centre stand means this doesn't work like they show on the YouTube video - the scooter they use in that is a Far East knock-off. You have to run the back wheel up onto a thick plank (I call mine Boris) to allow enough room for the stand to pivot down. The scooter can then be much more easily manouvered, but not fully because the centre stand isn't on the centre of balance like a motorcycle.

I tapered Boris, and cut off the front strut of the stand to help unloading. For unloading it's also essential to use the lever operated brake, so you have to make sure it isn't in a position that will foul the scooter centre stand arm when you load it.

Now, however, I've got the hang of it and can park my scooter in the awkward narrow covered and lockable space I wanted to. Result.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor build quality and overpriced, 25 Dec. 2015
Lasted about 6 months before dying. Avoid.
There are over 14500 hits on a YouTube video showing how to repair these when the inner wiring breaks. It will, because the internal wires are stretched and pinched, and the movement caused by the folding/hinging operation makes failure inevitable. Poorly designed and manufactured, and shockingly expensive.

Don't be put off by the black & white or subtitles. This is a delectable and captivating film that puts the mainstream vampire flicks in the ... Err ... shade.

First time of use, the piston in the lid that is connected to the button and provides the seal fell off into my coffee and couldn't be reattached.
