5.0 out of 5 stars Already a club classic..., 8 Jun. 2013

This song sounds like a recently rediscovered classic from the 90s: it's completely new, but it somehow manages to sound familiar, even on the first listen. Great, clear vocals, clever vocal sampling and minimalist production allow the song to speak for itself. Need U (100%) is destined to become a floorfiller and a club classic, and thoroughly deserved its two weeks at the top of the charts.

A bright vocal from guest singer Eliza Doolittle lights up this addictive dance record and continues Disclosure's successful revival of British dance music. Angelic synths and echoed lyrics in the verse give way to a bouncing bass and a catchy chorus. If you like Disclosure, you should definitely buy this: if you've never bought one of their songs before, this is a great place to start.

This was highlighted on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show as the Record of the Week and it's easy to see why. The warm harmonies, infectious beat and classy vocal sampling make this a Record of the Year. You will carry this song around with you in your head. Once you've heard the bouncy bass and catchy vocals, it's tempting to put this song on repeat for the rest of your day. This is an uplifting dance number that deserves to be added to the club playlist for many years to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fifties Classic, 8 Nov. 2012

This tuneful hit from the late fifties is served well by its beautiful arrangement and its legendary singer, Buddy Holly. This has endless replay value. Although some would criticise it for its simplicity, this quality is precisely what makes it such a brilliant song. Anyone looking for a perfect introduction to Buddy Holly or the world of rock'n'roll should start here.
