4.0 out of 5 stars Great mechanics, 6 Feb. 2014

The control you have over your lorry is really good. The relation even between digital buttons and steering is very usable.
The graphics are clean and clear and the lorry looks good. The camera options are all good too, and I like the view in the rear mirrors; you're never left with a situation that you can't get a good bead on to ensure collisions are avoided. The physics are good as your cab starts to slide out, and crashing is entirely believable. It'd be a nice touch to see curbs affect the lorry; maybe in a future update? Don't know how much effort would be needed to implement any kind of track elevation in that way, but having that feed into the handling and physics would add another facet.
The engine feels good enough to work for a mobile version of Euro Truck Simulator - just the assets and logic of a much bigger world would need adding. That I guess is the only thing this game could benefit from: more variety in the location. That's not a criticism of what's there, just that it feels good enough to make you want more. Specifically that is for the free drive; the mission variety within the level's confines just keep you going and going, with the requirements for each star quite well defined (note: precision is graded on your entire lorry's containment within the finishing rectangle, not just the wheels, so watch your overhangs).

...particularly for a game that doesn't seem to want your money to advance all the time. Neat visuals, strategic depth, decent challenge, and steady progression. Smart little game.

It has dawned on me that I don't really care for their lyrics that much, but I rather like the music.

Plays well, with a speedy refresh making for smooth cartoon action. Nice backgrounds, and a real sense of control... that death while not easy to avoid on the second level, is still largely your own fault rather than an unfairness of the game. It's an endless runner type game where you don't so much tell the character to move as simply indicate when you want them to grab and let go of swinging vines. Though you do actually have the ability to halt progress forwards by simply not letting go of a rope, doing so is more than likely going to make your game harder as reaching the next rope is tougher if you slow your swing down.
Bright and cheerful, and banana currency!

Not listened to this enough to justify a full review, but it does offer some new tracks with the old feel of DB, and one or two average ones perhaps? I bought this while enjoying one of their gigs, so I was caught up in the mood at the time - they are good live.

I can't claim to know musical genres and how they're defined, so I'll take a stab at "tribal", "hip-hop", "electro-dance"... anyway, I bought this off the strength of one track from the game Dirt 3, and from listening to the snippets available on Amazon MP3.

4.0 out of 5 stars Arcade action, 23 Sept. 2013

The game begins with a good tutorial to teach you the simpler, then more complex finger-swipe mechanics by which you control the game. It really is as simple as swipe the enemy you wish to attack, and combines in taps to parry and double fingers to initiate more powerful moves. The important thing is it is very responsive, as any fast action touch game needs to be. No doubt this will be in relation to the capability of your phone, but as this is 2D retro sprite action on a single screen, there shouldn't be too much to tax your device.
I've not progressed much through the game yet, so cannot say anything of the longer term play, or the main game's structure, but that initial period certainly went smoothly and showed a good deal of polish.
Bear in mind that while Viewtiful Joe stars in the game's icon, this character is not initially available and needs to be unlocked.

Decent graphics, all running at a reasonable speed (on a Galaxy S4). A bit of variety on backgrounds... what more can I say? Oh, once or twice it has felt less than 100% responsive, hence the dropped star.
