3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing conclusion to an otherwise excellent story, 31 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
If you've read Wool and Shift and are considering finishing up the story by reading this, then I'd say it's still worthwhile. But imagine the most obvious and predictable conclusion to the story based on what you've read so far. Odds are, you'll be pretty close to the mark. It feels like a rushed ending resolved largely through deus ex machina.

That been said, it's much better than most stuff out there!

5.0 out of 5 stars Blaze's best album yet, 5 Feb. 2011
This review is from: Promise And Terror (Audio CD)
This is a great album, you will not regret buying it. All of the songs are excellent. The only thing that is slightly off is the production - it sometimes sounds a bit tinny & shrill to me, but this is a minor quibble.

1.0 out of 5 stars CHECK WHAT YOUR DVD BURNER CAN SUPPORT FIRST!, 12 Jan. 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have just bought 2 lots of these. 20 discs, all useless to me. Why? Because my drive is a few years old now and only burns to 2.4x dual layer discs. These are a newer type that will probably be fine on more modern burners, but older ones (like mine) do not support the media code they use, which is RICOHJPN D01 67 by the way. Find out what your drive's firmware says it will support before buying these.

Basically, if your drive is a few years old and says it supports DVD+R DL but you're unsure about the other details, stick to using discs that specify a max speed of 2.4x. Verbatim are famously reliable.

Just for the record, my burner is an LG GSA-4120B DVD RAM drive.
