5.0 out of 5 stars Less costly than feeding coins in the arcades!, 3 April 2013

Excellent representation of the real arcade game. 'Coins' are accurately placed and move just as expected so there is some skill involved. Unless you are impatient there is no need to buy coins at all. Enjoyable and recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Sat Nav, 6 Jun. 2012
I purchased the TT Start 60 from Halfords a few days ago and am mightily impressed by it. The 6 inch screen display is stunning and displays all the information you could wish for, while driving, very clearly. Speed camera information even includes those sites that are often used by mobile camera units. A fixed speed camera position that was shut down a few weeks ago is not registered on the sat nav so it suggests the information is pretty well up to date. Perhaps this reflects the value of the TomTom community that supplies update info to TT, which is verified and then made freely available via downloads to owners. Rather than extoll all the virtues of this remarkable sat nav I suggest a read of the cnet review could settle any questions you may have regarding which sat nav you should buy. Having registerd the Start 60 with TomTom I am well on the way to getting a promotional offer of £20 cash back thus making this an even better value for money purchase. Why did I buy from Halfords? Only because at the time there were no reviews on Amazon and some reviews elsewhere for other sat navs suggested there could be all sorts of problems with downloads and updates so in anticipation of potential problems a purchase from a store that I pass most days would enable me to easily return the product should the need arise. I am very pleased to report that this need has not arisen and my faith in this excellent sat nav has been re-inforced by use over the last few days and by the recent cnet review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect piece of kit, 7 May 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Purchased the D-Link DWA-125 N150 USB adaptor in order to upgrade a non-wireless PC so it could be used with a newly acquired wireless D-Link modem supplied by TalkTalk to replace a defunct non-wireless modem. The adapter was installed simply and easily with no problem whatsoever. It worked perfectly from day one and has worked perfectly ever since. No drop-outs have been experienced and upload / download speeds have increased. This is an excellent product sold at a very modest price on Amazon. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth getting, 18 April 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought the Silverline chain saw sharpener and found it to be such an excellent product that I decided to buy this grinding wheel as an insurance that I would have a replacement for the wheel as supplied on the sharpener. No doubt the original wheel will last a long time however just in case the need for a replacement arises then I will have a new wheel immediately to hand. At such a low price I recommend anybody getting this as a spare for their Silverline chain saw sharpener.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent laptop in every respect, 18 Mar. 2012
After a lot of research I finally decided to purchase this laptop and I have no regrets whatsoever. It performs exceptionally well at the high speed expected. Absolutely no problems whatsoever linking into Wi-Fi systems. From the packaging onwards it exudes quality. It is a solidly built machine, very stylish looking, thin, light,(in some ways it reminds me of a large ipad!). As expected the screen does not pick up reflections and is a joy to work with. Setting the touch pad, screen brightness etc to personal choices is exceptionally easy. All in all this laptop rivals others costing much much more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Silverline chainsaw chain sharpener, 23 Feb. 2012
An excellent chain sharpener. I was a bit put off initially by comments about lack of instructions, however there are instructions provided albeit rather brief. Setting up was very easy. I clamped the unit to a workbench and set the rotational cylinder to the cutting angle for the chain as used on a Stihl 023C chainsaw (15 degrees). I opened the chain clamping lock and fed the chain into the whole length of the holder making sure that it fitted snuggly along the whole length. Before the chain clamp was tightened and with the grinder switched off, I lowered the pivoting grinding wheel gently onto the chain and used the back stop adjusting screw to adjust the position of the chain so it just touched the edge of the grinding wheel. I then clamped the chain. The wheel was lifted off the chain and the motor was switched on. The rotating wheel was very gently lowered onto the chain for about 1 to 2 seconds before lifting off and switching off the motor. The chain clamp was loosened slightly and the chain moved along to the next cutting tooth. This whole proceedure was repeated for all the teeth pointing in the same direction. With all of these teeth sharpened the rotational cylinder was released and re-set to 15 degrees at the other end of the scale before sharpening all the teeth on that side of the chain.

This may all sound a bit complicated but in reality it is not. And the result: a very sharp chain restored from being very blunt. This sharpener will save me hours of tring to sharpen chains by hand using a file. I have no hesitation in recommending this grinder and especially as it is available from Amazon at a very low price. If I can be of any further help just google me on trevorjolleyphotography.

Drive copy one click back up 2009 (PC DVD)
Drive copy one click back up 2009 (PC DVD)

2.0 out of 5 stars Not so simple, 27 Sept. 2009
Unlike other reviewers I found some difficulty trying to copy my entire hard disk to an external drive. Having tried unsuccessfully with one external drive I purchased a 1 terabyte external drive to ensure more than enough capacity to take the entire copy. Yet again all sorts of problems so I resorted to trying to read the online manual. Be warned this is 160 pages of information which I guess is ok for the very experienced technician but not for me. In the end I gave up trying to copy the entire hard disk and resorted to copying only the 'c' partition of the hard drive leaving the other partitions untouched. I only hope this has copied all the required data necessary to re-install all my programmes etc should the fateful day come when my PC hard drive refuses to function. The copied data is compressed and I have yet to find an easy way of checking what is on my external drive. I do not intend to use the existing set up to check as I fear that I will have more problems that cannot be sorted using the incomprehensible manual.

Sams Teach Yourself Adobe Creative Suite 3 All in One (Sams Teach Yourself All in One)
by Mordy Golding
Edition: Paperback
Price: £24.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, one of the best, 27 Aug. 2009
The description of what is covered in this book is accurate and says it all. It is very readable with the 700 pages containing everything you are likely to want information on when using the very extensive Creative Suite software. Even if you only have one or two of the software applications such as Photoshop, the relevant chapter will enable you to quickly get the best from the software. The very logical arrangement of chapters and the integration of information on the daunting array of applications that constitute Creative Suite will successfully guide you all the way. Although the illustrations are not in colour this in no way detracts from the value of this book. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny, 27 Aug. 2009
An exceptionally well written and comprehensive book containing all the information you are likely to want on all aspects of selling your digital images. The information it contains on what the various stock libraries look for when selecting photos and the images that sell is especially valuable. A number of different microstock libraries are described and compared and good advice is given on the relative merits of each. Many links are given to enable readers to access relevant sites. This is a veritable 'bible' for anybody wanting to sell their photos. Of course it cannot guarantee success - that is up to you, however with the knowledge you will gain from this book your chances will be greatly improved. Highly recommended.
