A rare and emerging new talent, 28 May 2013
I've been lucky to catch MT play at some intimate London venues. When he plays the audience is spellbound. His EP hinted at real musical talent and the album fully delivers this.
The (unlikely) mix of soul, classical violin and poppy choruses flows so well it's hard to pin down what sort of artist he is but the talent is obvious. The album doesn't have any stand out anthems but does beg to be listened together (preferably in the sun)
This album is like a gentle press on a accelerator, MT is just starting out and the album is excellent but there is more speed and more excitement to come, I can only imagine how is talent and style will develop and think that the album should spur everyone to find him at a gig and see the beginnings of a new star
