5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great, When Installed..., 21 Aug. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
As it has been said this device works perfectly fine - it's just installing it which is the pain. It claims to support up to four Xbox 360 controllers, though I've only verified two so far. But there's no reason it shouldn't support four. The installation disc packaged with the device is seemingly useless. You should try to install the drivers through the disc but you're likely to experience a similar error I encountered, that the drivers are not compatible with this version of windows or a later version of the driver is already installed on your computer.

I've decided to write my own guidelines here as clearly as possible. Hopefully it will help someone.

1) Plug the device into any USB port in your computer. Ignore any "Failed to install drivers" prompts.

2) Click start and right click "Computer". From this menu select "Properties". A new window should appear with a sidebar on the left with further options. Select "Device Manager" from this sidebar.

3) Locate the wireless receiver from within the device manager. It should be listed as "Unknown Device". Right click the device and select "Update Driver Software".

4) From here you get two options. Select "Browse my computer for driver software" and then "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".

5) You should be presented with a list of devices. At the top of the list there's an option to display all devices. Click this option and wait for your computer to gather all of the drivers.

6) The next window should contain companies to the left and corresponding device drivers to the right. Select Microsoft from the list to the left and the list to the right should fill with Microsoft device drivers. Scroll down to "Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver" and double click it. The device should now be functioning normally.

7) Connecting an Xbox 360 controller to the receiver is simple. Press the button on the receiver once so that the green light is flashing, then hold the connect button on the controller.

SSX Tricky (PS2)

5.0 out of 5 stars SSX Tricky Review, 27 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: SSX Tricky (PS2) (Video Game)
I'm not sure if it's nostalgia or if this game does hold up really well today, maybe a mix of both, but I really like this game. I owned and played it somewhat exclusively as a kid, and now that I'm older I have an even greater appreciation for the game in some ways.

First of all the core gameplay is solid. Tricks are very simple to pull off, using the shoulder buttons to perform various tricks and the d-pad to spin and flip in different directions. It's simple but offers a lot of variety. They're also quite satisfying to pull off. The game is probably first and foremost a racing game in many ways but it still does well to integrate tricks into its circuits and reward players who consistently perform unique and interesting tricks with a speed-boost mechanic.

Secondly there's the music. The soundtrack may not have been revolutionary in this particular case but it does create the game's distinct style. But it's not the songs so much as how they are used. The music seems to react to how you play. Flying through the air after a ramp has the music lowered while you hang in the air, with other noises sounding depending on the tricks you are performing. As you land the music kicks back in with a bang. It makes the entire act much more satisfying.

This is a game I'd certainly recommend, whether you have a friend to play it with or not. Great fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun, If You're In The Right Mindset, 27 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I know what this looks like - a game developed for the console for the sake of shipping with it. But it's actually more than that. You just need to find the right mini-games, the right people to play with and be in the right mindset before you sit down to give it a go. Then it becomes an outrageously fun party game that everyone can play. It's hard to pin down exactly who I'd recommend to play this game. But for the low price, it's worth buying it and giving it a go either way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality Wallet, 27 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Good quality wallet for the price. I've had it for a while now and it's holding up just fine, just a little bit of wear which is to be expected. Plenty of space for the cards I needed, 5 slots in total, one of which has a see-through window for ID. So far it has been a great purchase that doesn't look to break anytime soon. And a great conversation starter for many situations.

4.0 out of 5 stars Gets the Job Done, 1 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this to transfer the data from my 20GB HDD to my 250GB one. It got the job done. Nowadays it acts as a cable to have my HDD act as an external storage device for the new Xbox 360 slim edition. A good buy, but nowadays it's probably not worth the purchase. 250GB HDD is plenty of space, and a decent-sized USB stick can transfer all the data you would need it to.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fantastic RTS, 1 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Company of Heroes is a fantastic squad-based RTS. It's a lot more squad-oriented then a lot of other RTS games around today. It puts a heavy emphasis on positioning and tactics instead of base-building and resource gathering, though the latter two are still present in one way or another. This mixed with outstanding visuals makes for a great game. Would recommend to any fan of RTS.

Well, it's just a golf game. I had an odd obsession with them at some point. It's enjoyable and cheap. I figured it would be worth picking up.

I would struggle to find a person who hasn't played the Age of Empires series, but very few people I've spoken to have played Age of Mythology. It carries over all the aspects that made Age of Empires great and adds a mythological twist. I'd recommend it to just about any RTS fan.

Really fun and addictive arcade-like gameplay. Easy to pick up and get into, but difficult to master. There are plenty of quality, active servers out there to play on. Well worth a purchase.

At the time, it was cheaper here on Amazon that it was on Steam, so it might be worth your time to compare prices.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Budget Headset, 15 Feb. 2014

I was actually surprised by the quality of this headset. In my experience headsets of this quality are usually upwards €40.00. The sound is crisp and clear, and the headset itself is incredibly comfortable. Would recommend to all as a quality, budget headset.
