If you've been depressed, give it a read., 16 Aug. 2010
If you've suffered from depression, as I have, it might come as a refreshing change for someone to say "maybe it's not a disease or an affliction, maybe you're just in a really low mood" and like any emotion you are ultimately in control. I may be on my own but I find that an empowering thought.
Suggesting that depression can be lifted without counseling, grilling over your past to find the cause, but instead dealing with your own mind and how you mentally process bad situations is, I feel, extremely positive and helpful. I have thouroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to anyone who has ever felt depressed or knows anyone how has.
