4.0 out of 5 stars The End, 12 Sept. 2006
I've only given this a book 4 because I'm not sure how it will turn out. I'm nearly positive it will be as brilliant, thrilling and utterly enjoyable as the previous 12 and I wish that this isn't the last. Before you think about buying this book make sure that you have read the other 12 because a) you will lose out on the excitement of them and b) if you don't you will not have a clue what Mr. Snicket is talking about. Give these books a try even if you don't enjoy the first one, I didn't particularly enjoy the first, but as the series goes on they keep getting better and better.

5.0 out of 5 stars stravaganza: city of masks, 3 July 2006
This book entrances you with the mysterious first page. It was hard to put it down. I loved the way that the story was told, making it seem as if you were looking at the city. The characters are well thought about and so lifelike. Mary Hoffman leaves you waiting till the very end to see if the characters survive. There wasn't a dull moment at all. It was gripping, extraordinary and totally thrilling, if you love adventure and a tiny bit of tampered with history you have to read this book!!!!!!
