5.0 out of 5 stars Best Damn Book about the 70s - Period, 13 May 2004
Here is a book that will bring a lump to your throat at every page turn. Not only is it filled with references to all things 70s in England but the characters are brought home to the reader in a positive and fullfilling light. At the end of the book it is if you, personally have lived through this period of time. You will find your self lending it to others with post it notes attached saying "READ THIS!!!!! - ISN'T THAT LIKE US!" - like my self and coincidently several other people I know of - you may even find yourself buying more copies to give to people who inhabit your life and will know only too well the effect this book has.
For Andrew Collins to have been able to capture this essence in such a humourous, thought provoking and provocative way, makes myself and several others pick up a book, read it and enjoy the experience again.
