5.0 out of 5 stars Wel I never..., 12 Nov. 2005
This review is from: Trouble (Audio CD)
Bon is francais for good, nie is deutsch for never, therefore Bonnie=nevergood, actually no wait... She's amazing, she makes me believe that there is actually good music out nowadays, however high or low you have to get to find it. Never mind my failed pun, Trouble is a refreshing masterpiece.
And for the fun element there's even Confessions to laugh at.

4.0 out of 5 stars No Doubt {"it's tremendous fun..."}, 4 Nov. 2005
This review is from: The Singles 1992 - 2003 (Audio CD)
Has all the essential No Doubt songs my favourites being:~
Spiderwebs
Trapped In A Box
Running
Just A Girl
Bathwater
A must for any No Doubt fans looking just to buy one album, this really show cases Gwen's ever enigmatic talents, like I said it's fun, I gave this four stars because I think it was sometimes too fun for my liking, and Don't Speak is the only really serious side to them portrayed on here I guess...
Still if you want to get into No Doubt, this is the one to buy...

5.0 out of 5 stars "...Perfect...", 4 Nov. 2005
This review is from: Jagged Little Pill (Audio CD)
I'll make this short and sweet: Undoubtedly, Alanis at her best, arguably, the best album *EVER*. If you've just heard Ironic, and thought it was ok but forgettable I beg you to purchase this, Ironic isn't even the the sixth best song on there, it's one of those albums everyone has to own, and after a good listen, I'm sure you'll see why.
A timeless masterpiece.

I would have thought it hard to recreate another simple~but~gut~wrenchingly~Coldplay~lovesong, I don't know how but they did it... Up there with the likes of Yellow and The Scientist and the other anthems...
{Ooh and the video's quite something...}

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow., 23 Sept. 2005
This review is from: The Shell House (Paperback)
I was first introduced to this book when me and some of my peers were lucky enough to meet Linda Newbery, at this time I hadn't actually read any of her books. While she was talking about The Shell House, I got interested, and as soon I was in my local waterstone's I had to get a copy. It would be such a shame to spoil this book for anyone, so I can only stress to your how important it is you don't deny this masterpiece. This book actually changed my life in the sense, it actually made me tell the truth to anyone who mattered {yes, I may have borrowed that from the book...} And if you've read the shell house and are reluctant to read another book by Newbery, I must say this is personal favourite and if I remember correctly, hers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the wait..., 18 Sept. 2005

Maybe not as experimental as everyone would have liked, but let them dow hat they do best. I'll actually have to side with NME on this on, as I really think it's "their best yet".
Look out for, believe or not, the underrated tracks i.e. Hardest Part, Low etc.etc.
