I've been playing punk and metal for over twenty years and these Earpeace boys are amazig!

I can hear the bass and guitars and the vocals coming through perfectly, but I lose that horrible cymbal noise! Perfect!

1.0 out of 5 stars I don't get it!, 19 April 2012
I've read the reviews. Tried to understand, but I don't get why anyone would ever need this. I've always been led to believe that women love a bit of man-mot!

It was never a problem in my day. Actually, the fact that he resembles a hamster in the nest has often been the reason for a bit of attention.

Join me brothers. Go wild. Go free. Unleash the true animal potential.

And if you have to do anything, razor round the base, like the Porn stars do. It'll give you the appearance of an extra inch!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Dogz, 27 Mar. 2007
This review is from: Mind the Gap (Audio CD)
It's been a while coming, but finally I get to listen to a full length proper Dogzuki album. Having seen the band live countless times and enjoying every sweat-soaked, minute of it, I class myself as both a fan and a friend. So when it comes to writing a review, I was worried that I would have to face the un-enviable task of honesty Vs friendship. I needn't have worried at all. Its good stuff. Dogzuki have captured their live awesome sound and energy on cd. It's a treat on the ears. If you are a fan of Therapy? or The Pixies, Husker Du and even a slight little sniff of some Anti-product , you will love this album. Highlights for me are too numerous to mention as every single track on here, with maybe the exception of Lollypop Smack, are firm favourites of mine. Buy it, Love it, and then buy a copy for your best friend. You'll be singing the chorus to 'schools on fire' for months, and if 'Run Dry' doesn't give you a lump in your throat, then you are a cold hearted B'stard!!

I must have been under a rock. I had never heard of Zebrahead until my ex-girlfriend put this on one night. Full of energy and some really good tunes, this DVD is a snapshot of Zebrahead just before they released MFZB. With raw energy and an incredible stage presence on tv, can you imagine what these guys are like live? A must see for anyone who like a good show.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Worst Kevin Smith film????, 31 July 2005
This review is from: Mallrats [DVD] (DVD)
so yeah........Mallrats often gets tagged with "The worst Kevin Smith film", but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Sure, looking back on all the films, Mallrats does tend to look a bit childish, maybe a bit too low-brow, but that classic Smith dialogue runs below the surface for anyone who can ignore the bright lights. For me its Clerks in brighter packaging, and while it may not be to everyones taste, it realy shouldn't be lumped in as a "get it if you are a Kevin Smith fan only" title. Its a great stand alone movie from the early nineties and I love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chris on a bike! Its Rancid wrapped!, 14 Feb. 2005
This review is from: Transplants (Audio CD)
Amazing! When I first got this, it was in the car cd player for 3 months non stop. An emotional album, with some fantastic guitar work and Tim is on top form with his raspy vocals sounding more honest than ever. Although some of the rapping by Rob is a little tuneless in places, this is still an awesome album for Rancid fans and punks in general :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Dogzilla would be proud, 14 Jan. 2004
This review is from: Dead Again (Audio CD)
On the first listen 'DEAD AGAIN' brings back memories of early 'THERAPY?'. Solid, fast paced rock with a sense of wild abandon not seen since Morrisey came out of 'THE SMITHS' and brought the waiting world to its knees with his angst and darkened sense of pop. Dogzuki are a delight on the ears. An aural extavaganza that leaves you hungry for more. But what about the lyrics? I hear you ask. Frontman and lyricist Ger Ashby has hit the nail on the head with his unique brand of modern day prose. Mixing a very quick sense of humour with the kind of grit that made Kurt Cobain a household name, Ger has the quirky talent to become an iconic figure in the music industry. And judging by their website, its all eye candy for the girls too. With dashing good looks and extraordinary sense of hair fashion, the mixture of solid music and boyband looks will, I'm sure bring Dogzuki screaming to the masses. Buy it. TEll your friends. Dogzuki are coming. Look busy.......
