4.0 out of 5 stars Fun but could be improved, 25 Oct. 2013

There are two important gameplay features that prevent me from giving this otherwise fantastic game 5 stars.

1) What on earth is with the through-ball system? The fact that when you press Y (the through-ball button) you literally take control of the ball while trying to control power which makes the ball go about 20 yards ahead of where you want it and ultimately lose possession.

2) The atrocious shooting. First off every shot taken goes high. No bottom corner goals at all.
Also when you press shoot while the ball is in the air your player instead of heading the ball will take a touch and volley it. (By this stage possession could be lost)
And shots are deadly to aim! Every shot must go high into the corner. Nothing else. Which is extremely frustrating.

But there are positives.

1) The stunning graphics
2) Absolutely excellent Champions League Mode and Europa League Mode
3) the passing in play is very good

In short, comparing it to Fifa 14, it IS the better football game this year due to EA Sports poor showing with Fifa this year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fight Night Champion, 25 Oct. 2013

The first boxing game I have played and I'm blown away by it!

I can spend hours and hours playing with greats like Ali, Frazier and Sugar Ray Robonson and newer fighters such as Miguel Cotto and Manny Pacquaio!

Also Legacy mode is fantastic and I became triple crown heaveyweight champion at age 25!

Online can be challenging at first but some fights are very close.

Champion mode is a good idea by EA Sports with a movie-like feel story line.

In short, if you have an Xbox 360 and like boxing what are you waiting for? Buy it!

Absolutely excellent to have all the movies for £12!
For the overall 6 movies I'd score a 10/10 because they are simply my favourite series of movies of all-time

Rocky:

10/10
One of the greatest movies of all-time. It's more than just a boxing movie it's a great life story told. Apollo Creed's Heavyweight title defence is called off with only 5 weeks to go until the planned fight so Apollo decides to take on an unknown challenger. Apollo challenges the Italian Stallion and little does he know he may have me this match. A huge part of movie history.

Rocky II:

10/10
Another classic movie where Rocky retires so his health doesn't decline but when he can't get a job and provide money for his wife he must accept Apollo Creed's invitation of a rematch.

Rocky III:

8/10
Alone Rocky 3 was a good tale where we saw Rocky take a bad fall for the first time in the series and he must rely on the most unlikely of ally's to help get back on his feet and fight for the Heavyweight title again.

Rocky IV:

9/10
The first Rocky I ever watched. Ivan Drago is the perfect villain a 6 foot 5 Russian who was made of steel, had no remorse and could literally kill in the ring. The whole atmosphere for this movie is very intense and unlike the first few movies absolutely everything in this movie is focused on what goes on in the boxing ring and Rocky Balboa avenging his best friend Apollo Creeds death at the hands of his opponent Ivan Drago, in the Russians backyard: Moscow.

Rocky V
7/10

Disappointing to see Rocky's money blown and having to go back to streets where he meets Tommy Gunn and he trains him to be the number one contender. Then Gunn (who was played perfectly by the late former Heavyweight champion Tommy Morrison) turns his back on Rocky and wins the world title with a money grabbing promoter. Their dispute is settled on the streets of Philly which was a little strange an unnecessary.

Rocky Balboa

9/10

It's been 30 years since Rocky went 1 on 1 with Apollo Creed and it's great to see how Rocky is in his later years with Paulie still in the meat factory and his son working in business. The Adrien story is very heartfelt as is most of the movie. Then one night Rocky decides he may just get in the ring one more time. This time he's against the current champ Mason Dixon in a non title 10 round bout but is Rocky too old? Does he know what he's got himself into?

Again overall 6 great movies from Mr. Stallone... Fantastic product!

2.0 out of 5 stars Too expensive, 10 Mar. 2012

Emmm... When I bought this I tought this was a legit Eminem album. At first I was angry that it was acctually unreleased stuff and the album lasts 20 minutes because i spent £8.79 on it. But, even though after a few listens i liked it, it's too expensive.
