5.0 out of 5 stars Blueprint for melodic death metal, 4 Dec. 2009
This review is from: Heartwork (Audio CD)
One of the best Melodic death metal albums of all time. I remember watching Heartwork on Noisy Mothers on ITV when I was a young and impressionable teenager and it blew me away. I am still listening to this album around 16 years later. This extra demos on this reissue give a nice raw perspective staying true to the old grindcore model .. but you cant beat the album mix. I'll still be listening in 2025 for sure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for school, 4 Dec. 2009
This review is from: Here Comes Science (Audio CD)
I'm a Y1 primary school teacher and my class absolutely love this album and DVD. Nothing better than having a class of 5 year olds sing "Roy G. Biv is a colourful man, his name spells out the whole colour spectrum!'" Check out the other TMBG albums too..

5.0 out of 5 stars Genius, 4 Dec. 2009
This sums up the past 20 years for me. This film is absolute genius. Take bits of Jeremy Kyle and Jerry Springer, mix with a bit of satire, poking fun at modern R+B. R. Kelly is on a completely different level to the rest of humanity and popular music and trends - this piece of art this the most amazing snapshot of the violence / sex / scandal / cult of celebrity which people crave and waste hours reading about in newspapers and the internet.
The most brilliant thing about this creation is that it is made with genuine intent and R. doesn't quite realise how clever he really is. He thinks it's really good because he rhymes Bridgit with Midget and Buretta with Dresser and that "Some people don't notice it rhymes all the way through".
Unique, compelling and bonkers. You will want to show it to everyone you know.
