1.0 out of 5 stars Absolute rubbish, don't buy., 12 Feb. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I purchased this with some Joseph utensils. Their own utensils do not fit in it and so i had to stick with my old ones, unbelievable. I decided to keep it anyway but then after going through the dishwasher 3 times it cracked. I again decided to keep it but then realised that the crack ran all the way through and oil from any spoon i put in it runs through and onto my worktop. I don't care that it was 4 months ago that I bought it, i want my money back.

1.0 out of 5 stars Please note that this is plastic cutlery... ..., 11 Jun. 2015

Please note that this is plastic cutlery...£80 for cheap plastic cutlery, similar to what you get for free when you buy a salad box in M&S! It represents probably the biggest rip off I have ever known and was promptly returned.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seriously, 26 Mar. 2013
This review is from: Is This It? (Audio CD)
Arguably the best album ever made. There really isn't a great deal else to say, you should just buy it.

All of the heat change sticker was hanging off when the item arrived, it then came off completely after going through dish washer once. Avoid.

Time to Run Men's Compression Short Medium (30"-33"") Black

2.0 out of 5 stars Sizing is wrong, 3 Oct. 2012
These shorts are tiny, whatever size you are thinking of buying, buy the size above. Otherwise you will be stuck stretching and tearing the stitching just to get them on.

4 WHEELER ABS HARD SHELLED 28" TROLLEY SUITCASE -BLACK

2.0 out of 5 stars It's not really a hard shell, 3 Oct. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The body of this suitcase isn't a proper hardshell but instead is made from a cheap, thin plastic. When anything is stacked on it, the case will bend and crush the contents. It also scratched pretty easily.

They look ok but after walking 200 metres they had rubbed the skin off the top of both of my feet, just what I wanted on holiday!

Beyond Exile: Day by Day Armageddon (Day By Day Armaggedon)

3.0 out of 5 stars Flawed and not as good as the original, 1 Aug. 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It pains me to give this 3* as i loved the first book. There are quite a few flaws in this book and i feel that J.L Bourne has lost sight of what made the original great: the sense of isolation and impending doom. He introduces far too many new characters all of which are under developed and at the half way point of the book you are left feeling almost no sense of danger. The author also goes nuts with the weapons, don't get me wrong we all love 'the gear' aspect of post apocalyptic fiction but again the author loses sight of what makes it great. We want low ammo, jammed weapons, not enough weapons etc. However he goes in the opposite direction and introduces miniguns, tracking turrets (a la Aliens special edition) and lazer targeted 5000lb bombs, boring. All of these flaws are nothing though compared to his biggest mistake, in that he has chosen to develop the 'zombies are getting intelligent' plot line. This is a terrible miscalculation as i do not think any of the audience wanted him to go in this direction, zombies win through attrition and weight of numbers, they cannot think or reason and that's what we love about them, why mess with this? The last 4 pages of the book also indicate that he wants to explain the outbreak (very badly), why? I don't want to give away the plot so i won't go on.

In conclusion, if you loved the original then i would still say buy this as its not awful but be prepared to be somewhat disappointed. I will still buy the third one when it comes out but i won't be pre-ordering and counting down the days like i did for this. Such a shame.

1.0 out of 5 stars Tripe, 20 Mar. 2010
This review is from: Survival Of The Dead [DVD] (DVD)
George Romero hasn't made a good movie since Dawn of the Dead and that was over 30 years ago. Land of the Dead was garbage, Diary of the Dead was one of the worst movies ever made and now we have Survival of the Dead. Like Diary this is sub B movie garbage. Romero's script is beyond terrible, the characters are completely unbelievable and one dimensional, the dialogue is like a 13 year old wrote it and the overall story arc is nonsensical. Its little wonder that Romero's movies are straight to dvd. Avoid this movie like the (undead) plague, it really is THAT bad.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great movie, 1 Dec. 2009
I watched this when i was young and it really did scare me. Clearly these days it struggles to have the same impact but it still stands up as a fantastic movie. The sequel is great too.
