5.0 out of 5 stars The only sex and relationship book you'll ever need, 22 May 2013

This review is from: Rewriting the Rules (Paperback)
Meg Barker's book is a comprehensive guide that makes you think and realise how we limit our thinking when it comes to relationships. It's not a rule book that tries to make you fit into someone else's template, but a compassionate exploration of who you really are and how you would be happiest relating to others. There is no judgement, just total acceptance of how varied we all are and what makes each individual happy. Since I've read it, I have been recommending it to both clients and fellow psychotherapists. This is a must read.
Ronete Cohen, psychologist/psychotherapist

1.0 out of 5 stars Why are you selling this homophobic rubbish?, 30 Dec. 2011
This homophobic calendar was created by a virulent homophobe. He has said that AIDS was an "elective disease" which would stop "the day guys quit sticking it to each other. And for the tragedy of women and children infected... THAT stops the day their gay husbands and fathers stop cheating on them. Anyone need MORE education, science or funding to understand THAT?" Is that a point of view you support? You should remove it from sale.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful book, 22 Dec. 2010

I am a psychologist and I sometimes work with children who have grief and bereavement issues. This book is perfect. You can read it with them. It helps them to deal with the complexity of their feelings and gets them to open up about what's going on inside them. The most important thing is that they love the book and ask to keep it.

These recipes are sensational. No need to think: just do EXACTLY as he says and you'll be guaranteed delicious food every time. This very quickly became my most frequently used and favourite recipe book.

This really is an exquisite and extraordinary book. It is as moving and beautiful as it is haunting and unsettling. It plunges you into a mist where nothing is quite what it seems, and then you start to see things, or you think you do. Just read it.
